Anyone can knock him--hey he's done some stupid things. But in the right circumstance he's a very solid NBA player who can score close to 20 points every night. He's also a willing passer and can grab 4-5 rebounds. I think he's a perfect match for Sacremento's bench and after game like today--maybe other teams can be reminded what he can do. but it's a two way street--a team has to know when to sell and when to hold. NY management has been in and out of love with JR for 4 years running. Time to use a couple of games like this to sell at a high.

Not sad at all..he has had some great looks to Jason Smith and today with Amare..That's a skill not every player possess..the offense is built around wings players getting those looks and making those passes..

The offense is built around the wing players executing those passes..So it's either Melo, Shump or JR who will get the majority of those looks..The fact that you want someone other than JR to excel at this is a completely different conversation...

Well Amare has value and looks good...A good playoff team like SA will figure out how to use him for 20/25 mins a game next year..Shump has blossomed in his role and has been good all around..We have to continue with him playing this way to build his confidence for next year..Dalembert has been better than I expected..So it's not all bad..We just can't expect anything from them this year..Build for next year when we have cap room..

Kind of nice that he had his best game on a day when there was a 1:00 start. Those are usually difficult games for him. Maybe he is respecting Fish and taking things more seriously. It would be nice. Also, I think he should start until Jose is back.
