Wha? His options for speaking are not only chocolate or vanilla. He can say Pistachio for all I care. He lacks any nuance in those statements, so yeah it comes off as Homerish. I'm not prosecuting him for it. It just sounded silly. I don't expect him to say things like "we're gonna catch Toronto gosh darnit" when the team needs to focus on winning a single game.
