Oh this is a piece of cake.

Or it would be if I hadn't repressed the memories everything from 2000 on.

The above posts seems to have summed it up quite nicely.

fishmike @ 12/15/2014 11:03 AM
how does Bargs not make a list? We have had quite a few dudes brutally underperform from one year to the next (JR, Chandler, Felton) but has anything move been a more dismal failure than Bargs?

I mean imagine we swing and miss in FA and instead of having another high first rounder to put next to OK4 Toronto gets that pick. Abysmal in hindsight. Only the Curry trade is worse IMO. An unprotected pick for this guy

Hector @ 12/15/2014 11:09 AM
I'll give Felton at least a little credit for playing decent That 1st year before he was traded.

Andre is of cours a total bust. He is a definite starter on this team. If there was a 'suck' league, he'd be a perennial all star, 1st team all suck.

F500ONE @ 12/15/2014 11:19 AM
If I start off with this back court

Chris Smith and Anthony Roberson

Do I even need to continue

Splat @ 12/15/2014 11:25 AM
Too much work ...... this season's team will do fine
gunsnewing @ 12/15/2014 11:27 AM
Chris smith has to be the worst knick of all time

Glad somebody brought this guy up. Man was he awful. Ironically, I ran into him once at the bank by the Greenburgh training facility (he def spent more time there than on the court). What a disgusting human. Winter rolling up with sandals and exposed boils all over on his feet. All time Knicks great right there.

His music is good though. Ever hear his duet with Stephenson, "Lance Boil"?

Nope, but I've heard "Lance'll make em dance"

I was a little suspect on players who got paid less the 800k.

Bargiani has 4 months to redeem himself, so i didn't put him on my list, I was focusing on player we either drafted, or those we traded for and were completely useless and cap killers.

jrodmc @ 12/15/2014 12:50 PM
Cameo mention: Frederick Weis

I just know Howard Eisley got the pt guard spot on lock on this team. So many players have had a cup of coffee with the Knicks it's hard to say. Bill Walker doesn't registerin my mind.

Never played a game did he?

Bargnani is far from the worst knick. He gets hurt, but can actually shoot.
Chris Dudley?

He appeared on draft day. Or did he? Anyway, he was briefly assoicated with our logo, and stands with the rest of the gory majority of our first round disasters.

Where is Ed Tapscott these days??

An NBA executive level professional for years, Tapscott was the first employee hired to lead the Charlotte Bobcats as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, but resigned after serving as President and Chief Executive Officer in 2006.

Tapscott formerly worked in the New York Knicks’ front office, including a stint as interim president and general manager. He’s perhaps best remembered in New York for the 1999 drafting of French center Frederic Weis who never played a game in the NBA, but much less credited for formulating the New York Knicks team, which culminated its season in the 1999 NBA Finals.

On November 24, 2008, Tapscott, at that time director of player development, was named as interim head coach, replacing Eddie Jordan after a dismal 1–10 start during the season. General manager of the Wizards, Ernie Grunfeld, stated that Tapscott will run the team for the rest of the season.[3]

Tapscott made his professional coaching debut against the Golden State Warriors on November 25, 2008, a game which resulted in a win. Under Tapscott, the Wizards accrued an 18-53 record in the 2008-2009 season.[4]

After Flip Saunders was hired as coach of the Wizards, Tapscott returned to his position as the team's Director of Player Development.

I can't find where or if he is currently employed. He is also an attorney.

Wonder if Dolan pissed him off and he Took weis to spite him??

Penny and Tim should not be on the worst team. I know people don't like Thomas but he was a good player that never reached his potential and Hardaway was a shell of himself when he was here but was a very good role player.

Come on man, Bill Walker before Jalen Rose? And what about Mo 'The trade that forced half the board to man-up' Taylor? What about Bargs?! Jerome Jordan?- so many stinkers to choose from!

Come with me down memory lane:

TWO unprotected high picks (one was a right to swap)- we could have had a front court of Joakim Noah and LaMarcus Aldridge. Weep!
