Ridiculous that none of his teammates came to his aid. The other 4 wizards on the court helped restrain Acy. Cole turned his back and walked away. That is a really bad sign. This team is sorry.
Acy was furious after the altercation, with multiple Wizards needed to separate him from Wall. Meanwhile, the surrounding Knicks on the court stood idly and watched, with Carmelo Anthony the first teammate to approach Acy — roughly 15 seconds after Wall pushed Acy.
That is a damn shame that kind of hints that there is poor chemistry and they don't like playing with each other,

This is ridiculous! Where was Cole going?!
I've never seen a team completely not come to a teammates defense or at least restrain him and we've seen a lot of this over the years.
Embarrassing. They should be ashamed of themselves

I agree. Maybe Phil should waive Cole. That was ridiculous. This whole team has no heart.

Yeah but remember this team wasn't having that
Jefferies and Nate even Frye got involved
Then again Melo had no problem defending
The nut that is J.R. even to the extent he threw a sucker punch
For the RECORD that 2006-2007 Knicks team won 33 games

I loved Melo at Cuse but couldn't stand him after that fight.

I couldn't stand him since entering the league
He's been full of himself from day 1
And collected a lot of suckers along the way
Thank goodness I got this one right

I really miss Jeffries. Especially what he did for the Linsanity team. He was a great glue guy on and off the court. Tyson & Shump were playing his best ball too

I didn't like the trade but for the most part I like Melo as a Knick. I felt the same way about Spree before he was a knick.

No comparisons as Knicks, Spree was a leader
And played hard on both ends and didn't disconnect with
Other stars teammates on the team, not close to the same
Argue their talents all you want but what they gave to the organization is night and day

Watching that again, I have to ask how Melo was not suspended for the rest of the season. That was a haymaker.
Some may not recall that Kermit Washington almost killed Rudy Tomjanovich with a similar punch. Just change the angle on a punch and Melo's swing could have done the same damage to Mardy Collins.
What a punk.

He stuck up for J.R. Smith a Bum of Bums
He threw Frye to the floor
He started jaw jackin, threw a sucker punch on Collins
Which the whole Garden heard, backpedaled
From Jeffries and Nate
Resulted in our players getting suspended
He received the harshest, now here's a side point
Melo got 15gms, Smith 10gms and the Nuggets still won 45gms
Making the playoffs///// so his overratedness was there early in career
Meanwhile we had a pretty pedestrian team Nate and Jeffries missing games
Yet the team won 33gms, fast forward to 2014-2015 we might not win 20gms
And we clearly did not have a good culture back then
Just goes to show how oversold this season and Melo have been

I didn't like him because of the PJ incident. Funny though, a buddy of mine covered the warriors some of the time when that incident happened. He said the reporters hated PJ because Nelson had been so open to the media and made his players accessible. He also said Nellie was incredibly kind, generous and at times opened his home to reporters. PJ was closed and rigid. Apparently, the guys that covered the team weren't as surprised or that upset by the Spree choking incident as most would expect.

The only guys who give a damn on this team are Shumpert, acy, Larkin and maybe THJ. Everyone else can kick rocks

Acy rocked Chump's shoulders on the way out
Not sure too many on this team, care one way or the other
I know you wanted desperately to pick up a pom-pom
Post of the day for your boy, but every guy is looking out for numero uno
