We waived Dalembert already
thats good. I can sense that we will do some 10 day contracts and mini trades because we simply can't just role with Stiff and C train at Center

yea fans don't see the big picture
I see the big picture
Donnie Walsh once traded Jordan Hill, 2011 1st, 2012 swap rights, Jeffries
For McGrady, Sergio, exprirings[for cap space], how did that work out
Phil could have done better than a 2019 2nd
Cavs traded Waiters for Shumpert[your boy], Smith, future 1st
For the record Uhhhh Shumpert and Smith are essentially cap space
For the Cavs if they don't work out and the cap will explode some after J.R.'s deal expire

You gave up 2 quality players playing in a bad system and all you got is cap space, with about 3 marquee FA's.
At the end of the day you will have max 2 stars to come here, so we will have 3 maxed out players and a bunch of 1 yr players..This is similar to the same dumb shit walsh did..smh..wtf
Nobody is getting waived then coming to join a last place team, so I wish phil would stop saying he hasn't given up on the season, it's really insulting.

Yeah Phil said we had to win in order to be attractive
Now he's just giving stuff away
Whatever fits the current set of circumstances
Phil knows he can get way with Flip-Flopping in New York

dude you keep saying our players are good and its not their fault. Hell you even praised calderon which was laughable

You have no idea what Phil is actually planning so it's not valid to piss on the cap space. Without knowing who exactly Phil will target and how he plans on building this team it's just not fair to bash what is a POSITIVE development for this often capped out franchise. We lost with the players we had and now we are getting rid of most of these guys. Maybe more moves to come.

I liked what I saw from Kirk in summer league and training camp. He has decent range and competes. Wouldn't mind keeping him for a mini audition.

This is just BULL-ISH. This is a smart direction to go in given what he witnessed. Now he's improved his cap space which is a GOOD THING and can't be turned into a negative by you and any other naysayer. How can you trash good cap space given the way this team has done things in the past? So now we have a 1st rd pick which should be a top pick and over $30 mil in cap space so far. Mind you Phil can clear even more space if he wants to. Those are good things.
Can't wait to see JR in Cleveland. Lebron is an awful GM.

If Lebron is the GM than he is a genius. JR, Shumpert & a 1st round pick from OKC for Waiters

I never made no fire fisher thread, but if a petition went out, i'll sign it in a heart beat.
I'm not that guy that gives credit to coaches when the team is winning, and blame losses on players. 1000's of ppl are on line to sign the petition, they have started to make their voices heard.
nba tv reporting that we got a 2nd round pick, not a 1st. really? wasn't shump overall #17?
anrst wrote:Can't wait to see JR in Cleveland. Lebron is an awful GM.
I didn't think JR liked Lebron...Wasn't he goofing on his shoe brand with his brother on Youtube not too long ago? Maybe I'm wrong...Gonna be interesting to see how his terrible shot selection goes down with Blatt, the Cleveland big 3 and their fans.
So we're getting Lance Thomas and Lou Amundson back in this deal now? LOL...I thought we weren't bringing anyone back?!? I wanted the open spots for other players...So now it's gonna be Thomas (who I actually don't think is terrible--would much prefer one of these younger, higher-upside DL standouts instead though), Amundson (hustle role player who's completely useless to us) and a Langston Galloway callup?? F YEAH!!! I mean at least if we grabbed 3 top DLers, I would've watched for the rest of the year...Someone wake me up during the offseason. LOL.
If I'm the cavs wtf do I want with shumpert and jr smith. They dealth their most tradeable talent in waiters for two bad versions of himself. Shumpert is awful. Jr smith is the worst player in the nba.
I'm not sure how I feel about only getting a second rounder, but otherwise it's solid... we are terrible and it's best to acknowledge full rebuilding mode. This team needs to be as awful as possible.

We are waiving those guys
Now that the JR Smith era is over, which was worse, the JR Smith era or the Tim Thomas era?
Lebron is so full of himself. He thinks he can re create the big 3 on a whim, thinks coaches don't matter, and thinks shumpert and jr smith will help the roster? Guy is not the sharpest tool. He's got so much power and so such little smarts and humility.
