I'd assume that their agents would be calling around and getting a feel about where teams stand...trying to get their clients hooked up with teams that are the right fit for their talent.

how does that help us?
I don't know if Philly would take Okafor.
they would because it would give them the most trade value. They are not gonna pass on a guy who would be by far the BPA.
Hinkie is a smart guy.
Yep this is my line of thinking to if Okafor falls to them. The only chance is if they fall in love with kristaps.

c'mon ... if they don't want ok4 they will trade out of the 3 for a crap load of value. No way they are just going to pass on that opportunity.

I just think they are one of the few teams that feel comfortable enough to draft kristaps if they think he is the real deal.
I guess they can trade back with Denver, if they want Okafor, besides them who do you think have the assets to move up to 3?

Of coarse but you said crap load of value so I was just wondering who you thought would Give up multiple futures?

idk ... Orlando, Denver, Phx etc ...
you don't think that he would get back a big package?
i doubt anyone is going to mortgage the future for a chance to draft mudiay, winslow, cauley stein, etc

were talking about for ok4

no, not a chance.
we were discussing what philly does if he drops to 3.
I feel like the guy I KNOW what Im getting who has high value is Kaminsky. The issue is he has weighing 231 vs 245 is the EASIEST fix out of any of these guys.

So your going full Rainman with Kaminsky rants for the nextt two weeks?
I think the C's are going to take Jordan Mickey 16th.

I might do it, too, but I'm too burned out dealing with the Steinboys and the Steinlove coming from his thread.
I appreciate Briggs trying to sell us on his guy almost as if imploring us to will Phil.
As always in the days leading up to the draft the drama usually works itself thru and there is little suprise at the podium.
IN any event its must see TV as Knicks can't trade the pick until after its made. I would think at some point teams will show their hand. IF Minny takes Towns, and lets it known then Lakers have nothing to lose by declaring their choice.
My sense is that If lakes can woo a big man via free agency then Russell/mundiay makes sense for them. What is intriguing is can a team like Denver with the 7th pick make its way up the draft order to the 3rd with an offer that includes its pick, and Lawson (Might take more) philly might be able to get Winslow there or another player it covents while getting a quality Point. Might take another pick, or not.
In that scenario Denver values Oka5 very highly.
I like Kaminsky and he'll do well on a good team. I can't fathom some of these guys draft value and thus can't argue if Briggs is right or wrong.
As for the Stein conspiracy that he is sandbagging his offensive skills, well we'll just have to see that play out.
theres gold to be found in the draft for the ones that get it right.
