They are missing the shot blocking ability, screens that free's up ROse and causes mismatches, and uses the other players to spread the floor, also the smarts and intangibles of Dunleavey as well

Its a shame, I like Thibs. However Thibs + the inept Bulls medical staff is a horrific combination when it comes to players health.

I'm sure the players on a team that has watched Rose miss so many games and made some maddening comments about playing and injuries, are paying the right amount of attention to what Rose is saying.

Exactly, which is why he can win a ton of regular season games, but come playoffs, they cant score

If Thibs loses Noah he lost his best ally.
Noah needs to rest and Thibs is killing him, and migh have run Rose into the ground.
Intense guys like him and Scott Skiles have about three years with core group then it gets old.
Maybe Butler was mumbling about leaving as well.

Sure is. Use your eyes and look around the league. Who's earned more money? Tony Allen or kevin marten? Jamal crawford or Bruce Bowen? We could do this all day. One great scorer can take over a game. One great defender can guard one guy. The truly special ones are elite at both. Did Ben Wallace ever earn the max? Did Rodman?
I'm not saying anything profound here.
Yes you can rally a group of guys to defend as a team but if you can't score your going to lose. How many times has Thibs been beaten by a lower seed in the playoffs?
