Ligament Tear in thumb requiring surgery

So who do they get desperate for or can-will they weather the storm

Might make Wes Mathews more likely to leave in free agency, if they do a lot of losing over those two months and miss the playoffs
yellowboy90 @ 1/23/2015 3:42 AM
Jason " Jah/mid-range/Bargslite" Smith to the rescue.

If this was Amare their would be a 1000 post about he's injury prone, get him out of here..blah blah blah

Is it safe to assume they won't want to resign LA, Lopez, and Matthews all to big contracts this summer? I assume they will retain 2 out of 3, but can't imagine them paying LA max and giving both Lopez and Matthews longterm deals are 10+ mil per year. One of them will be attainable for a fair contract.

I am hoping that your right and we could steal Wes Mathews.

Wes and Lopez would be nice if we draft OK4 or Russell

Well if Aldridge is overrated and Wes and Lillard

Are what they're cracked up to be

Then we have no shot at Wes most certainly

the other player isnt here so it really isnt a problem fans of the knicks have. amare has been a bust here, why does it bother you so much folks are not pleased with the guy?

My stance has never changed about the dude, I like him, but I couldn't careless weather he stays or goes. But he can have a 20/20 game, and their are poster that would find a 100 holes in the game he had 20/20 (hypothetically speaking), thats hater nation.

There's no player in the league thats flawless, but because some guys get paid more than others, thats what some seem to expect, which is stupid.

if you dont care if he stays or goes, why worry if folks give the guy grief? you dont think he gets grief cuz he does have legit flaws on top of having a max contract in which he no longer can play up to (no longer starting much, missing games from injury/rest/etc). if this happens to aldridge after he gets a max deal --> portland fans will do just what knicks fans did.

Players get Max money because they have earned it, it's usually at a point in their careers (3rd contract)where they will only live up to that contract for a yr or 2, then their on the decline. Thats how it's always been. the players that live up to their contract are usually on their 2nd one, right after the rookie contract ends, yrs 4 through 8.

In terms of Max was it really fair or earned

Portlands owner is NOT a cheapskate. He will spend and pay the luxury tax and has in the past so we shall see.

Uh but Amare is injury prone....

So I been looking at the blazers....if Wes Mathews leaves they are fucked. What if LaMarcus leaves too? They play in the west....too much competition just to make the playoffs. The Blazers aren't in a good position to improve either.

So LaMarcus could be in great position to come play for Fisher and Phil. LaMarcus, Melo maybe Wesley or dragic...it's not impossible and not that far from possibly happening
