phil is terrible, had he kept JR and shump, instead of dumping them for nothing, he would have had chips to trade calderon. Instead jr, and shump are helping the cavs shoot to the top of the standing, while calderon is helping the knicks plummet to historic lows, only there's no EWING, Hakeem, duncun, labron, KD, waiting to be drafted

That's great! It's obviously a small move but it's good to get these picks.
They could be used or potentially be packaged for a 1st rounder.
We'll see how Phil is at actually selecting players though. It's one thing to get the picks, but another to use them well.

Yeah, and the whole point was to get out of JR's contract. He wasn't an asset to be included to get out of someone else's bad contract like Calderon's. He was the bad contract!

agreed bonny. gotta figure most GM's viewed jr's contract as absolute poison.. except for lebron. we did the best we could with that deal.
