I've said all this before, several times ( though I've been accused of never saying anything positive at all about Melo)

1) I believe he is a purely lethal 1 vs 1 isolation scorer

2) As an individual player, I believe he is offensively complete. Which is rare for anyone in any era of the NBA. ( left hand, right hand, long range, at the rim, above the rim, in transition, back to the basket, the guy was built to score a basketball)

3) I believe his skill set translates, given the right circumstances, to be the greatest offensive 6th man in NBA history.

4) As a power forward, with his offensive arsenal, he might be one of the few players who simply can't be guarded when he's "On"

5) To his credit, though it should be the minimum expectation of any NBA player, you never hear about him beating/cheating on his wife, shooting up a nightclub or running around with gangsters. ( I guess most of the worst parts of Shaq's off the court life) I mean at least he isn't a rapist like Kobe Bryant.

6) I believe he can help *A* NBA team, I just don't think he can help the current Knicks.

so you also agree he is best-suited as 6th man? good! so do me and splat. lets hope this sentiment gains momentum, just as the swing away from okafor to towns did.

You might have missed it but I said Clyde already brought up making Melo the 6th man the other day on the Kay show so maybe it will garner some momentum

i missed it PLEASE send me a link to the post and hopefully to the podcast? i'd REALLY appreciate that!!

Im sorry DK man I really am.. its just you asked him with such excitement, this was kind of low hanging fruit. Apologies

hey no problem but if you're asking for it to be used on you i am just notthatguy. jrod perhaps can oblige you?

I'd thank you very much to keep me out of your deranged Melohate circle jerks, you weirdo.

I'm shocked, SHOCKED-- to find that gambling is going on in here!

I like how his initials make it easy for us to remember which agency represents him.

But does the crow love Melo, too?

I like that he's been able to play a solid number of games for us and actually fill the "star" role for the most part, unlike another 100 million man who enjoys red wine baths and will not be named.

Red, red wine
Go to my head
Make me forget that my
Knees gonna so

Red, red wine
It's up to you
All I can do, I've done
$100M dollars all mine bro
Yo, that's right yo

I'd have thought
That with time
Thoughts of Dolan
Would leave my head
I was wrong
And I find
Just one thing makes me forget

Red, red wine
Stay close to me
Don't let me bathe alone
It's tearin' me up
Extinguish my fire

Red red wine you make me feel so fine
You keep me rocking all of the time
Red red wine you make me feel so grand
I feel a hundred million dollars when your just in my hand
Red red wine you make me feel so sad
