Assuming we draft in the top four would you also trade Melo for another top four pick and who would you pick with those two top four picks?
I would. But we needs lot more asset than just a draft pick
Yes, of course. Then you'd have a true rebuild with cost efficient players and a shot at having one or more homegrown stars and a younger, healthier starting unit.
I would because I believe there are 4 elite players in this draft. I wouldn't for anything outside of top 4. And I also wouldn't in many years, such as next year. But for the opportunity to have 2 of okafor, towns, Russell, and mundiay that would be tough to pass up. However, I will be very happy with a core of Melo, one of the drafted players, and one all star caliber player from this years free agent class.
If we can get an nba starting SF along with it then HELL YES.
Imagine linining up Okafor and Towns together.
Would a team with a top 4 pick trade for Carmelo?

Nah, We are trading for Carmelo's evil twin.
No
If we manage to land OK4, and he is able to bring that same offensive awareness to the pros, he and Melo will make a great tandem.
Plus, there is no player in this years draft that will ever be as talented as Melo
I would trade Melo for any first round pick.
I'm worried he is too old, too hurt and paid too much for where we are as a franchise.
I'm ok with going into next season with him- hopefully healthy- but lets face its going to be 2-3 years before we really have a better team here.
I would trade him for a god damn chalupa right now!

You don't watch any college ball this year to be making that kind of statement...

Nope...not a chance. When the cap goes up to $98 mil or so Melo's $25 isn't that bad.

You got a deal.
Its funny Bargnani is proving that if you give a bum the ball for 20+ shots a game he will average 20+ points. Whether is him or Melo doing it we SUCK

Melo won 54 in a season as the go to guy. Bargs has won 4 in that role.

That was a long time ago

Dude that was 2 seasons ago. Comparing Bargs to Melo is absurd.
Bargs...another talented player that is too damn stupid to ever become more than the below avg NBA player.
Bargs has been a different player since he started looking like the Wolverine...

Which team in the top (bottom) four would want to trade their pick for Anthony, that is the real question.
Maybe LA, if they are in that position... but you would think that they would step away from taking on another max contract to replace the one that is weighing them down now. Not sure why Philly or Minnesota would want Anthony, either.
You would need a contending team who owns the pick of a poor team and thinks Anthony is the final piece for their team. Is there any team like that in this draft?
Besides one of the bigs, I would look at Russell or Winslow. I'm not a Stanley Johnson fan, and I just don't know enough about Mudiay. I do like Kaminsky, though. If you take OK4, and you want to go big, you might want to look at a Stein. If you believe this draft is deep, you might trade one of the picks for two #1s in this draft. Again, I'm not sure if this kind of trade partner exists.
