I'm hoping and praying for that top lotto spot and KAT in the draft. I think this kid has so much more game than we saw in college. We may not be so lucky but it's nice to dream until the lottery.

Great video
Starting this Sunday I'm going to go to church to pray for the #1 pick. Every Sunday until lottery night

OK...I've seen enough. Superman is in the building. It's over ladies and gentlemen.
Can we draft Towns....Then trade our 2018 pick, plus cash and players....for a chance at Winslow?
Man two way players is really the key to every championship.....And they make others play both sides. Whenever Towns offense isn't working....All he has to do is come up with another blind side volley ball block to start up the momentum again.

Getting Towns & Winslow is the ultimate wet dream
Knicks1969@ 4/9/2015 10:46 PM
Question: did Jordan show much in college to prove that he was the Meggastar that he was? All we saw was THE potential to be a two-way player with freakish athleticism. I believe Winslow has those qualities

Completely agree. This guy's the clear number 1 pick and has been for some time now. With his skill set, Towns should've been developed to be THE focal point for that Kentucky offense -- if not at the beginning of the season, then definitely by the end. For some reason, he wasn't and I think it cost them a championship. I'll be SHOCKED if he didn't turn out to be a far better player at the NBA level. ABSOLUTEY SHOCKED!
Thanks for posting the video, Briggs.

I'm telling ya man -- if we we're ever lucky enough to get this kid, our first order of business should be to hire the best big man coach(es) we can find, whether that's Olajuwon, Ewing (what's his contract like with Charlotte? We really need to bring him home), LJ (who's already here) or all 3. I might even think about making Tim Duncan a huge offer to come aboard if he retires (if I'm Duncan I'm thinking if Hakeem can teach all these young guys, so could I). Money would be no object. If I'm Dolan, I'd make Olajuwon an offer he couldn't refuse to come work exclusively with Towns and the Knicks. If Hakeem declined, I'd at least sign up Towns for every side session with Olajuwon that was available. Bottom line is I'd want to do everything in my power to make sure I got Towns up to speed skill-wise asap, esp. considering he wasn't developed nearly enough in college.

This kid has 3pt range. When I watched him play in high school he was more of a perimeter stretch 4. Give coach cal and his staff credit for teaching him post moves

As one of the representatives for the optimistic fans, I approve this message. I also believe Phil is reading my threads before his latest blog came out on the type of players hes looking for. Two way players like Towns and winslow. I cant post from my cell phone.

those aren't, like, special effects, man. the kid has a chance to be really really good. I feel like he's got some Sheed in him - I think he's somewhere between a Sheed and a Drummond and an Anthony Davis. aka very very very good.
I would be thrilled if we got Towns.

Truthfully id be happy with towns okafor or russell. My top 2 choices are towns or russell because they fill big needs. We need a big man who can rebound defend and score inside which towns can do. Russell is thr impact guard we have missed for years

yep, i agree. any of the big three would be a godsend. i'd have the hardest time talking myself into okafor, but it could be done.
we picked a good year to be historically terrible, if nothing else.

there are other impact players in this draft. Many people think mudiay could still end up being the best of the bunch but playing in china hasnt gotten him the exposure of the other 3. Then you have prospects Like winslow stein kaminsky along with some euro talent. My point is on the off chance we dont pick in top 3 i still dont want to trade the pick for a flawed player

Why would any Of these cats come to NY to coach Towns? Out of all the names you mentioned, we can perhaps attract Ewing to come to NY; and even that is a stretch. The one dude we can and must hire is KAJ

For the money. If I'm Phil I'd convince Dolan to make Hakeem Olajuwon a ridiculous offer to come here and teach/mentor KAT full-time. Something he couldn't refuse..If he declined, then next on the list -- Tim Duncan (if he retires) or Pat Ewing (if his contract in Charlotte's up). Get one of those legends to go along with Larry Johnson. If we're luck enough to draft Towns, go the extra mile and invest in a worthwhile big man coach.
Who's KAJ?

Although money does make folks sell their souls, but I don't believe Olajuwon would ever leave his beloved Houston for the Knicks. You must not know how much tax newyorkers have to pay to leave in NY. Dolan need to swallow his pride and bring Ewing home. Kareem is a Newyorker and has worked with Phil in the past. He already has the blueprint of the triangle and coached several bigs to be effective in the system
