Knicks · Knicks give the fans what they want (page 4)

In this particular case the Knicks are still capable of winning the lottery. The absolute worst case scenario has the Knicks picking 6th but it could be anywhere in between 1-6 if they win tonight. All we can do is hope for the best in the lottery. After that we'll know what pick we have and can take it from there. The thing is we're still in the lottery and still have a chance at the top pick. There's no controlling the ping pong balls.

This has been an eye opening season on how morally bankrupt professional sports fandom is today.

Why don't you guys just buy beer and popcorn and go watch bingo?

WTF are you talking about? You do realize that at this moment the Knicks have the 2nd best chance to win the lottery? We have to see what happens tonight but as of right now that's the case. Still we can't control what the balls actually do.

Because the old blue haired ladies laugh at them when they try writing in numbers on their cards...

Minny went 0-10 over the last 10 games and the Knicks 3-7. It was unfortunate but I don't see much of a way around it unless they basically did an obvious tank and sat a bunch of players over the last 10 games or unless you colluded with the players and told them to throw games to ensure they didn't win any games. In the end they still have the 2nd best odds possible. It's simply not worth complaining about IMO.

If the eighth seeded team in the lotto jumps up and gets the number 1 pick, folks here are still gonna act like it was the Knick's own damn fault they didn't get the first pick.

The lotto is fate and luck and chance.

How you use that pick is a different story entirely... and THAT, historically, is where the Knicks have made their biggest mistakes. Given Melo's comments today, they seem well on their way to screwing up another draft.

Now can just pray for luck.
