Knicks · this looks like a great fit... put Isiah in charge of women (page 4)

crzymdups @ 5/6/2015 3:30 PM
if y'all think this doesn't contribute to making the Knicks a laughingstock in the league and scare away free agents, I don't know what to tell you. Dolan is somehow sabotaging the Knicks while not even making Knicks-related moves.

crzymdups @ 5/6/2015 3:51 PM
Dolan is such a frickin' troll.

gunsnewing @ 5/6/2015 4:05 PM
He likes to troll fans and media that are hard on him like the older fan he went at it with through email
crzymdups @ 5/6/2015 4:21 PM
I wish Phil would have a little convo with Jimmy D about angering the basketball gods. Dolan probably just assured us of getting the fifth pick. What a doosh.

Isiah has been doing the rounds with the media today. Heard him on Michael Kay/ESPN just now. A lot of sidestepping the questions with technicalities about him being the president of the Knicks "in Westchester" and Browne was an MSG employee and didn't report to him, the lawsuit was about her firing, etc. When asked if in a few years' time he'll move on to the Knicks, gave a non-answer that none of us know what the future holds. They asked him if he feels that the allegations were totally unfounded why he never sued Browne for defamation of character, he paused a long time and said that although he and his family went through emotional pain over it, he's been gainfully employed in multiple basketball jobs like NBA/Turner since, so he couldn't say he was financially affected by it. Also put forward his post-Knicks jobs as proof since these other organizations didn't have any problems with his history when hiring him.

Also talked about how the excitement in the men's game is now below the rim with Steph Curry exemplifying that, and that he hopes to bring attention to the women's game which offers a similar product to fans.

A point Kay made is that besides this news they wouldn't ever talk about the Liberty. I think that's kind of sad. And Dolan's quote seems to acknowledge as much.

Dolan seems to be operating under the "bad press is still press" mantra here. Just hearing their voices again turns my stomach. IMHO it's a damn shame these two clowns are back at it again frolicking in the Garden, but whatever.

That whole A.Browne was bullsh1t anyway.

President/co-owner, not coach: man, you don't even care to know what's going on!

I didn't know the going rate of bullshit was $11 mil!

BRIGGS @ 5/6/2015 5:35 PM
Ill give Isiah some advice--have the Liberty really tank and get Bri Stewart who will dominate the womens game for some time to come.

Sorry to hear, considering I have heard far worse, on many more than a few levels, on this very message board, that you haven't addressed.

Which btw, I can easily see how he makes certain people sick (Albeit I am not one of them) and he is a creature as you and I are.

You're right. I don't care about this.

I do hope I.Thomas comes back to Knicks so I can read about everyone here jumping off a bridge.

knicks aren't worth jumping off a bridge for. jumping ship is another story.... but don't you worry there are millions and millions of people-- essentially an endless "sucker resource" in nyc-- who will be more than happy to line dolan's pockets for the privilege of being distracted and entertained. you see, that's the reason dolan was smiling.

Dolan and Isiah are not the source, they are symptoms.
This is the sickness of our society.
The substance is nothing, the entertainment is everything.
Food and entertainment is all we need.
Who cares if this is the good story or bad story. It should be The Story.
They are Kardashians of pro sports.
Let them clown and let people laugh.

MSG settled for 98% of the amount because they knew they were phucked.
