The Pelicans, Magic and Nuggets already have coaching vacancies.

Nobody would be surprised if the Bulls fire Tom Thibodeau.

Could another team drop its coach?

Chris Sheridan of Sheridan Hoops:

Oh my!

If it is Byron Scott nobody will be surprised.
crzymdups @ 5/27/2015 11:08 PM
Don't think there is any chance it's Fisher.

not at all

Cant copy an paste but Fisher's name was on the list of question marks. Thibodeau is probably the kind of coach Phil would go after and Fisher would be set for life with the deal he got. That would be great if Thibs can learn to use his bench more.

Edit: it was another writer who speculated that Fisher was on the list.

Fisher and Jackson wasn't on same page last month on philosophy of finishing season on that NY
Botched ping pong balls

Especially with Phil making public NBA comments on liking D'Angelo
And later Karl-Anthony Towns .. getting fined for one

Perhaps as boss it is Phil's fault but Fisher with all his marital private issues coming out
Should have been private business. This made me think Fisher wasn't into knick business
All year until last 1-2 weeks knickerbocker wins to move from last place.. ping pong balls

Fisher may want out and NY knows it already.
The pro NBA team wants a coach in place for June draft 2015.
not saying it's DFish a surprise but anything is possible!

We aren't that lucky..
crzymdups @ 5/28/2015 12:06 AM

Management won't do move to Kevin , with all the Houston non sports tragic news
Plus Houston overachieved.

Doc Rivers?
Maybe?

I would give money to see Fisher replaced;specifically, given that Shaw is available
EwingsGlass @ 5/28/2015 1:00 AM
My guess is Brad Stevens (Celts). Pave the way for Thibs to return to Beantown. Celts will need to give the Bulls some consideration for Thibs though. Ainge is the kind of guy to do a move like that.

Then Phil without knick draft picks can move in
Make talented Brad the next Knickerbocker coach ASAP !

Please no.

smackeddog @ 5/28/2015 3:11 AM
It ain't Fisher. Biggest surprise would be Rick Carlisle. Most likely it will have been Sheridan exaggerating and will turn out to be either the Blazers coach or the Wizards
wargames @ 5/28/2015 3:39 AM
If its Carlisle or Spo I would be surprised.
