Looks like he might leave Miami.
Wed have to pay up
so something like Monroe 4 years 13mm per
Wade 3 years 15mm per. But hes a good NBA SG:) even at 75%
This is surely a joke right? As the final piece to the puzzle maybe, but we are not at that point yet
No way u give that guy a three year contract..I'll give him a PGA type contract.

YOu never know with the Knicks--I think they always believe they are one player short.
Why would the Knicks want to do this? D Wade ran the rubber on his tires years ago. No way Phil would do that.

But they're no longer a straw short of a full bale.
We better not. Wade's numbers have been tanking for several years and he can't stay healthy. In the last 4 seasons he's missed at least 17 games/year, his Offensive WS have dropped from 6.1 to 2.1, his Defensive WS have dropped from 3.5 to 1.4, WS/48 dropped from 0.227 to 0.086, VORP dropped from 3.5 to 1.6, BPM dropped from 6.3 to 1.2, ORtg from 112 to 102 and his DRtg rose from 99 to 108. He's clearly on the downside of his career and needs to be on a team that doesn't need to rely on him night in and night out.

Phil has talked about not taking the big name player that doesn't make sense and doesn't fit. He already has Jose on the roster that he can't trade so I see no way he adds another 33 yr old guard.
The upside to reports like this are that Dragic may realize that he's being left to hold the bag. Miami is a train wreck waiting to happen.
Even if this is true....He's going somewhere else to win a championship. Unless there's another super friends plan in 2016....Need something to raise the blood pressure of knick fans. I think the media enjoy's this more than we do!
Didn't Melo have the same sugery as Wade? Wade would provide the leadership being called for but he has a hard time staying on the court and would cost a lot. He would be great in NY at the right price but I think he still could get paid and go to a team ready to compete for a title next year.

who cares ... when healthy he is a great player. Lebron is an a-hole too.
typical knick move - sign the over the hill, washed up former star to money everyone else is smart not to offer him.
I'd rather lure Goran with my money.

he is washed up and he has zero leadership skills. if you're expecting another miracle season a la jason kidd you are kidding yourself.

This isn't going to happen. Phil isn't even talking about doing things like this. My guess is that he wants younger vets who still have plenty in the tank. He's talked about the team not being close to a title so why would a move like this make sense?

I agree. Have to hope the Knicks aren't the same old Knicks. Wade is a winner, a champion and a leader. If he is available at the right price he would be a good signing. I don't think he would go to the Knicks for the right price.

Makes sense. Do they not resign Shump then? JR is under contract.

That is an interesting scenario.
