unfortunetly the knicks are the only team dumb enough to acquire that contract. Basically the knicks are used as an example of what not to do lol

And if we did somehow trade him, everyone would cry and complain that we didn't get anything of value when he contributed in a playoff series.

I think he has more trade value after next season- 1 year, exploding cap, 3pt shooting.

So he runs Parsons and Lin out of Houston because he wants him and DH to be the stars and now he wants more help. LOL

He didn't run those guys out. Morey let them go and gambled that he could get another star.

Morey wanted cap space for Lin and included a 1st to move him. I think Cuban wanted to screw Morey over with the deal he offered Parsons. Getting Ariza worked out pretty well for them.

he has to want to give up touches and control of the ball in order to optimize having another playmaker back there with him. he has to be content with being a spot up shooter, and by conserving some energy, have more energy for exerting himself on defense.

that said, i am not sure another backcourt playmaker is what they need. i think beverley would have made a big difference. they need a solid permimeter defender.

Ok he didn't run them out but he talked shit about them afterwards. I don't think Lin would come back.

In a perfect world (sadly not this one) would you prefer to trade him for cap space or for the rights to Beverley?

Until last year, his offensive metrics looked reasonably good, though his defense was bad statistically (and visibly). Last year, everything looked bad.
