You guys can reach your own conclusions...and I'm sure some of you will.

Just put my vote in for the UK draft poll, though.

He's grown a lot on me- I like the way he comes across in interviews, plus I think he fits well alongside Monroe (if we are taking him)
WaltLongmire @ 6/12/2015 4:24 PM
He's quicker and less gawky than I thought he would be.

I just feel that he will be gone by 4...which is not necessarily bad for us.

I actually believe OK4 could slip under certain circumstances, and I just watched one of his highlight videos which made me realize how good his post up game is. He really is a baby, physically, in some ways, yet there are few bigs in the NBA now who can maneuver down low like he already can.

We stay at 4 and we will be pretty happy, I think.

Yes I accept this. Stein is sieve on the offense. Kristaps has just as much defensive potential as Stein but just a world of potential and skills on the offense. A no brainer.

How will you feel if OK4 falls to us?

Take him of course but not over POrzingis.

JrZyHuStLa @ 6/12/2015 4:34 PM
Zinger over WCS for sure.
BRIGGS @ 6/12/2015 4:46 PM
Im saying it right now Porzingis is David Robinson. People wont even remember D Robinson was 6-8 220 at 19. Porzingis is 7-1 230.
Moonangie @ 6/12/2015 4:51 PM
Holy crap, he has a sweet shot release. Moves smoothly for a guy his size. I'm on board with Phil if this is his guy at #4.
ramtour420 @ 6/12/2015 4:52 PM
Zinger for the #4. Who IS WCS? I don't know anyone named WCS.

I cant imagine 1 fan I mean 1 fan not wanting Kristaps to be our 5 for the next 15 years. What I thought he was and what he is are two different things. Hes a natural 5 who has skills that are off the charts. People could make case for 1or 2 if we project.

franco12 @ 6/12/2015 4:57 PM
but he's a string bean!

Hes 19 and hes 230 now. He'll be 240 by the start of next season--its a no brainer man 7-1 245 same size as D rob.

You heard the man, he said he needs to put on weight like 5 times

Wow....so impressive.

Well, Phil said during the town hall Q and A that he would love to draft someone that can be a Knick for 10 years. If this kid has the mental makeup, don't see why he can't be that guy....

Phil has said repeatedly that he will try to do what is best for the franchise and won't sacrifice that for short term success. Let's hope that his actions back that up...

JrZyHuStLa @ 6/12/2015 5:17 PM
Would not be surprised if this kid ends up being better than both Towns and Okafor.

At least this sounds more accurate than the Kaminski/Bird.

JrZyHuStLa @ 6/12/2015 5:24 PM
Runs the floor like Kevin Durant a little.

Unlike what some of us may think, Phil does not expect anything from this rookie pick. So picking Porzingis would be an easy decision. Also when Melo said he rather have a vet running the point.....Sometimes Phil used other guys (especially his lead guys) to say repeat messages that Phil would say. So picking Mudiay would be nice, but if Porzingis is the BPA, he will pick him up.

Whats funny is I just played about a tall guys like Porzingis in the gym.....He wasn't 7'1, but on average, it was similar since most of use were around 6'0 and this guy was about 6'7.....first play, he took me down low, turned around and shot over me like I wasn't even there.......Somebody yelled out SWITCH....

So another guy about my height was guarding him.....but he was pushing him....fouling him.....getting him frustrated. And it worked. Thats my only fear with him. Bigs will be very physical with him because thats his only weakness......How he handles that is key! Most Euros can take that kind of physical play, and they lose confidence. Others turn into Dirk or a young Bargs when he was the man in Toronto. Porzingis has potential to be better than bargs or as good as Dirk. But he could also be the same as Bargs.

I say you have to take this guy over Mudiay, WCS, Winslow, etc.....because of his two way star potential. And with his guard like abilities from the outside, he will be hard to cover. And he will give you those blind side blocks. But I'm not sure he will be strong enough for 1 on 1 post defense. This is a tough call. Mudiay is legit....Porzingis could be legit, but it's hard to pass up that size and skill. Just like it was hard to pass up Bargs or the other dude drafted ahead of Mello. WCS and Kaminsky are also solid.

It's impossible to pick everbody.....And there will be NBA stars we will pass up. Wow.....hate to be in Phil's shoes, but I'm sure hi$ check would help relieve $ome $tre$$.

FistOfOakley @ 6/12/2015 5:35 PM
guys... it's a workout... it's spot up shots... don't get too carried away...

the guy didn't do anything outside of what he was known to be good at it... all the questions about him are when other players are on the floor with him.. rebounding, handling the ball, passing...

he will be 20 before the start of the season... he's the same age as most college sophs coming out..

anrst @ 6/12/2015 5:43 PM
i can't see LA passing on him
