I have 100% confidence we will blow this

I have actually never felt more nervous and unsure about anything related to the Knicks. Chances for disappointment run high!

Can you imagine that we walk out of the draft with a hurt player and Trey Lyles? The negativity will be so high that it will just create another vacuum for the kNicks. You dont trade down in drafts unless the deal is too good to be true. I mean TOO GOOD to be true. We should learn our lesson about trading draft picks for hurt players.
I really want J.Winslow at #4 despite positioning conflict with Melo
however if Okafor is dropped to 4th, you're the knicks you cannot pass on that Okafor! simple science
I am happy with Okafor or Winslow
NO Mudiay, *wanted Russell
I see no way in the world that Russell makes it to the Knicks. I've given up the fantasy of Russell at #4. I am starting to believe it is possible that Phil goes with Hezonja. It's a bit of a last minute shift but it does make sense since he has the most upside of the guys left IMO.
I don't really think Mudiay is as good as some scouts think. Winslow also seems like he's not as good as scouts think either.
I still like WCS but after all the health scare stuff I can see them pushing him further down their chart.
KrisP is just too far away IMO. Phil doesn't have to take that kind of long term project.
Kaminsky is also further down the list in terms of upside.
That just makes me think maybe there's something to the idea of Mario at #4. He provides the 2nd scoring threat the team needs at SG and has star potential you want at #4. Just sounds like a very logical pick.
where's the facepalm option?
I'm sure I'm falling for the mind games, but I really think we promised Porzingis #4. I've lost hope Russell or Okafor drop (hearing rumors that the Celtics have a deal in place with Philly if Okafor is there at 3).
Mudiay, Porzingis, Hezonja - I think I'd be happy with any of the 3.
Gut instinct is it's going to be Porzingis.

I think most fans would be very happy if we stick with Hezonja. Fran F will talk highly of him--he likes him Bilas likes him. If we trade down and get a hurt player and Lyles--guys they have listed in the mid teens going down from 4--they will kill it the fans will kill it and the negative cycle of this team will continue. Dont underestimate the negativity either. The negative overtone the media and fans will take is toxic. We cant get half arsed value for pick 4.
Briggs, I would be really entertained if you live stream yourself right as the Knicks make the pick. I would feel better being entertained by your reaction of horror if the Knicks make a bad decision.
I am actually excited about tonight. We will get a very good player tonight no matter what. I am more worried about free agency and who we will get.

I'm not really worried about the draft or FA. Once we draft it only makes FA easier. It's one less need.
I hope they take Winslow at #4

Mudiay if the top is determined as most think it will. Towns, Okafor, Russell, Mudiay. There is a reason why the the top 4 teams worked Mudiay out.

Wow, even I'm not that negative. I'm only at like 80% confidence that we'll blow it tonight.

Im very fearful. Im starting to hope that Russell goes 2 and a team comes up and takes Hezonja 3 leaving us with Okafor at 4. Lets see the Knicks justify not taking Okafor.

OK4 will not reach the Knick's at 4, a team will pay for him, but with 300 picks already, Philly can add some more, along with many controlled contract with high ceilings already
NO OTHER TEAM can sign Durant, Lebron, and trade/sign for another 1-2 more TOP TEIR TALENTS, and still have more draft picks, rookie contracts with high ceilings
Those draft picks could also become the next Ibaka or even another HOF/ALL STAR TALENT as well
Lets face it, they are in a great position to becoming a future YOUNG REIGN OF CONTENDERS for many years if their owner is willing to do what OKC wasn't with Harden in building a DYNASTY
When the TV DEAL KICKS IN NEXT SUMMER, Hinkie will then be judged if he can lure talents or not
They can mold their team to be any way whether it could be a OKC, Cleveland/Miami, Spur's, Lakers, GS, frachise with GREAT DEPTH and play many different styles of basketball depending on who they can attract or if they can attract with so many draft picks and tanking so many years, at WORST they can be an Atlanta type of roster if no one wants to go there
If they convince 1 TOP TIER FA to go to Philly, they can trade/sign for 3 and more future HOF's and still have 222 picks to work with future picks/draft selections/stashes etc to continue to improve
They can afford to strike out and still be in the game in high ceiling talents, where as we can not with our limitted picks
I am saying Justice Winslow will be the pick when all is said and done, but have like 10% certainty at the moment.

That would be a dream come true scenario, but let play it like it is, there will be no Euro in the top 4. If you want to get cute with the draft then you take a Euro, I wouldn't take a Euro until mid rounds that's me and that's how most GMs are thinking. Unless he has performed against top US talents in the Olympics. I have never seen KP in that situation or Hezonja.
Where was the "I don't know what the F we're doing" choice?

I second that. Come on BRIGGS, record yo'self!
