Bird said to love him. I think he would be a great addition for their team.

The only way Id sign Beverly is by waiving Calderon. How many PGs do we need?

what if the plan is to run 2 pgs in the starting lineup? It could help the triangle learning curve for the rest of the team and it sort of fits the who lead guard/off guard philosophy.

It also worked really well two years ago.

Calderon sucked last year and he turns 34 in September. We should be making moves today that will hopefully be paying off 2 or 3 years from now.

Yep and it might be a lot cheaper to just add bev than to spend 15 mil on SG's who are all 3&D guys.

With Beverly, Thanasis, Gallo and Grant you have some good d and size available in the guard rotation.
Sounds like the Hawks are matching Orlando's offer. Does this make them vulnerable to lose Carroll?
Looks like we had a phone call with Corey Brewer last night.
Wow teams are not messing around--Millsap MAX contract 4 years 80.

We all need to lower expectations- not a bad thing, or a reflection on Phil Jackson, but realistically it's going to be tough because everyone is going to get way over paid this offseason (more so than usual)

I think he would be signed to a vet mini deal. He is a solid vet that plays good d and provides leadership. I think he was waived at one point last year so I think he is looking for work more than he is looking to get paid.
