well he's not exactly using it in a derogatory term, whenever your force to do something you really didnt want to do, we call it rape right?
Like buying a $50 pair of shoes for a $100, you were rape, completely taking advantage of, suckered, hood winked, ect

thx but I do agree that it is not in good taste ... wish I can come up with a diff one that works ... so far nothing
Knicks arent very appealing right now even though we try to be optimistic. Maybe if phil was coaching it would be easier. It doesnt sound like many of them are jumping at the chance to play with melo either. Obviously porzingis needs time to develop. Basically cap space is our only negotiating tool but other teams also have space and better situations

Yep. Hopefully it works. I was hoping Monroe would be announced last night.

thats why the tanking made zero sense, the hiring of fisher made zero sense..

I'm not too worried yet. Guy is a slightly above average player and probably wants to hear everybody out first. Can't blame him. He also has decisions to make with years and money so a little more complex than some of the other guys.

i had no problem with tanking...we just messed up. Minnesota did it the right way and got Towns. Fisher i agree i didnt like it

WHAT? You do realize that we already could have the foundation of a new team because of the draft right? That draft was the best thing to happen to this franchise. If you strike out in FA you can still have a future. I just don't understand this kind of thinking at all.
The other teams can offer the same as the Knicks the real question is do they really want to be here. If you guys were FAs and other teams can offer you the same money would you want NY. I think a lot of you would say no. They don't want to deal with the headaches that come with NY. The media is unforgiving here a lot of these guys don't really want any part of it.

nix i like you but you gotta stop trying to convert people to think exactly like you. Everyone has a right to different opinions and outlooks. Knicks1248 is a passionate fan and his points are valid

the point is that it ain't all just peaches
did you ever consider that players may not want to play for Phil or Fish? And perhaps players are not excited about playing with Melo?
I don't get why the heck anyone would want to come here. No clue. You come here and you are tarnished. Tyson escaped to some degree but most players leave after they are crushed.

exactly why we need to continue build through the draft. Porzingis can develop without anymore intense pressure. Phil has to find a way to get a first rounder we lost in the terrible bargs trade

A future, dude no one wants to play for a losing team, your great picks will bounce the first minute they can.

Yeah and I gave my opinion. Why are you so concerned with my posting? You're turning into a stalker!!! What did I say that was incorrect? If KP and Jerian turn out to be really good players that was a great thing for this team. So why would we not be happy about this draft? Regardless of FA this team has some young talent with great upside. That part of this process is just fine. I don't care what kind of crazy point you could come up with having top young talent is a good thing. How do you refute that?

I think Phil has picked up on that and is targeting more Euro players that might be the way to go for this organization.
