Knicks · Lopez discussing deal between 12-13mm per with Knicks (page 2)

BRIGGS @ 7/2/2015 9:24 PM
No real difference per minute. If anything Koufus is a better rebounder.

http://www.basketball-reference.com/play...

http://www.basketball-reference.com/play...

Also Koufus has 3400 minutes less on his body.

nixluva @ 7/2/2015 9:27 PM
I like Koufos. He could just be a victim of being behind a better player and not getting enough of a run. If we could also scoop him up that would be great.
franco12 @ 7/2/2015 9:28 PM
sorry - I think we could make do with Cole Aldrich & Jason Smith. Its not the money, its the amount of space on our cap that deal takes up.

I'd rather suck, watch Toronto pick 1st than give that kind of contract out to Brooke's brother.

CrushAlot @ 7/2/2015 9:29 PM
If the Knicks grabbed Koufos and were able to get another impact player it might be a better move. Lopez makes more of a splash in the papers Not sure if it is that much better on the court. I will be really psyched if they sign Lopez though.
dwiley20 @ 7/2/2015 9:31 PM
Man really i would rather give that to T. Harris....get j smith, beverly n hibbert n call it a day for now

agreed crush. I do like lopez but thats alot of money and expectation for him. If we sign him for 13 million thats a big chunk of our cap space. The afflalo deal was more reasonable
dwiley20 @ 7/2/2015 9:32 PM
Jordan has a better chance of winnin the championship being in the East

Yeah but I know if the Knicks sign him I will be really excited. I only have Melo and Ewing shirts but I probably would get a Lopez shirt if he came to NY.

You're underestimating how good R Lopez actually is. His WS48 was .150

This is a bad deal for an injury prone player like him. I'd much rather we get Koufus unless we can get Jordan.

thats nice but basketball wise it wont be that much of a improvement. At best maybe 30—32 wins without having any picks

Cole gets tired easily. Not sure that he could play 28 minutes. I also was really discouraged when he walked away with the ball when Acy was ready to fight with three guys from the other team.

If the Knicks could get Tobias that would probably be the smart move. Orlando's gm has said he will match but they are a frugal team and seem like they want to replace Tobias. If the contract was structured right I don't think they would match because I think they know Tobias wants to leave.

Well it sounds like Phil wants P.Beverley pretty bad so what do you guys think he's worth?? Remember he's a RFA so Houston can match so we need to make it enough for them not to match but not too much that it's a bad signing by us.

If he does we shouldve drafted Justin Andersen.
