the mavs... easily. without deandre, they get destroyed inside. blake would not be as effective.
with dirk and deandre starting for mavs, that would be a great frontcourt even with dirk staying outside mostly.

Is he gonna be just sitting in a car outside DeAndre's house?
Wow! This is a pretty terrible thing to do on Jordan's part. You don't back out of a verbal agreement. Isn't it essentially a contract? If he backs out now, this would be like a restricted FA being bid on and the bidding team having to wait over a weak to see the team match. All of Dallas' other FA could then back out with cause.
I don't think the NBA would allow this, words are held accountable, at BEST, Mav's could trade for Jordan that would give them a TPE
Though that would allow Clippers to be in a position to contend and they both play in the same conference, shouldn't do this unless Clippers give up assets for Dallas to to consider
If there is a a TPE, Clippers would be able to use it with assets to try to acquire Noah as Bulls have enough depth without Noah and Gasol is more of a Center than PF

It's only a verbal agreement. It's not binding.
I'm sure the league and his agents are not happy at all, but there's really nothing to be done, legally. He hasn't officially signed with Dallas yet.
everyone is upset - DeAndre's allowed to reconsider - appears that his agent Fagen may have close ties to Dallas, hence the possibility that DeAndre wasn't 100% sold himself.

So can we take back our offers from
Derick Williams
Affalo
Lopez
and
Kyle O Quin
I find it hard to believe if so...

Jordan need Paul and Blake to be effective. Most of his scoring comes from their efforts.
Who is the PG with the Mavs at this point?
Clippers are closer to a title with Jordan than the Mavs are with him, IMO.
One could argue that Blake Griffen, CP3, THE DEFENSE, the rest of the roster like Reddick has said, along with Doc Rivers and owner Steve Balmer, needs DJ more than DJ NEEDS them....
His presence down low for OFFENSIVE REBOUNDS/LOBS with his athleticism/mobility with his picks on and off the ball, with his ability to ROLL AND FINISH WITH CONTACT, opens things up for the shooters like Reddick/Barnes/Crawford, along with CP3 and Blake Griffen
DJ is very under rated for what he brings to the team because of his FT shooting
While no on has ever questioned what Shaq and even Tim Duncan means to their team, as they were both not very good FT shooters for much of their careers
While DJ is still in his prime, his presence helps the team much more than his STATS show
By far he is the best defender/rebounder in the entire league to defend 5 positions/recover and still defend his man
Wow - DeAndre called Doc first?
This is getting hilarious - apparently Reddick has been called in by Doc and he just tweeted this out:

Steve Kerr did the same thing to Phill and the Knicks
This might be my favorite FA boondoggle ever. Thank god DeAndre didn't sign with us, or I'd be having a panic attack right now.
The messed up thing is - if DeAndre backs out on the Mavs - watch the Mavs try to sign Robin Lopez out from under us.
