Don't think Lopez would do this type of thing...and if Cuban does it he also comes out looking bad, and potentially hypocritical, since he will undoubtedly make some comments about the Clippers and Jordan if he loses out.
Jordan realized how dumb it was to leave 30 mil and a chance at a championship ring on the table, just to play in his home town for a team with Linsanity as your starting PG. Playing on a team with Lin and Barrea as your only PG's would scare me too. Esepecially when Lin hasn't even confirmed yet. Dallas was already in tank mode, with or without DJ.
This could be the start of a chain reaction.....Silver better install some new rules, or you will see this happening a lot more in the imediate future.
So can I assume owners can back out as well? For a billion dollar industry, there needs to be more structure!

Jordan, Dirk, Parsons, and Matthews was a good start. Also, you forgot about Felton.

We agreed to sign him on the assumption that we were out of the DJ race, not that he was out of a chance to play in Dallas. Remember the stuff about Lopez not being upset about being a 2nd or 3rd choice?
