I was thrilled when he coached the summer league last year, but it had zero effect on larkin, THJ, Early (got hurt) and wear once the season started. In fact..THJ who had a great SL, was basically in D fish dog house.
We have so many young players who will either make the team (Porzingis, Grant, Galloway, Early), could make the team (Ledo, Thanasis, Galdikas) or are some kind of asset that needs to be evaluated (Labeyrie, Ndour) that having Fisher there teaching them the system and doing the in-depth evaluation is invaluable.
Fisher is also entering his second year in the league as a coach. After a very difficult year, it will be nice to see how Fisher will look to improve from this first coaching season.
