I agree - sign him now. He's an NBA player. He's even got enough of a jumper to play center in the Triangle.
Also, martin/Andrew - isn't it time we added a Triangle emoticon? We have the Pringles one?
sign him... we have two spots left right? Ledo is here with that partial guarantee. That leaves what? A backup center? You rarely use 15 guys on the roster, but all our deals are short ones sans Melo/Lopez so 100% sign this kid. He's already passed the Greek IMO at this point.
Now - just do it already.
Sign him now!!!
tell shved to wait for thanasis and let them leave to europe together
I have a feeling if we dont sign him Sneaky Pat is gonna sign him in miami
Sign him, at the very least, he has earned a camp invite. After that, I would use the last spot on a guard who can actually shoot. We have nobody who can spread the floor and it's going to be a problem in the regular season. While I like Ledo and Galloway, Neither one of them is a 2nd guard who can spread the floor. I would cut one of them to add a b/u center. At this point Thanasis isn't even in the picture.
Rather him than Ledo or Wear. Guy is an energy hard hat type guy...can't have enough of those.

Ledo seems to get to the line at will. Galloway seems completely lost this year. He seemed good last year because there was nothing to compare him to
Galloway = Chris Duhon 2.0

This is why I like the moves that Phil made in the offseason. Now that we have an actual team, we can start to look at upgrading the talent at certain positions. I like Ledo and Galloway and I'm not going to diss them, but it won't be hard to find better talent at this point. And coincidentally, they both have partially guaranteed contracts and are becoming expendable.
Always wary of SL stars vs comp but appears to have skillset that translates to NBA . First offer Camp invite and sign/ tie him up one way or another. If he's slated for Europe then make sure we have his rights. If we cant do that then Id be in favor of bringing him rather than some other ancillary piece. Kid brings energy, hops, D, personality and has a J that isnt a surprise if you look at his college tapes. He's a 3/4

More of a 4. can play 5 if we go small like GS did with green
Duhon was a pretty respectable player - maybe not worthy of being a full time starter, but solid.
Galloway is going to be a 10 year pro. Maybe he'll even be a $40m contract player. I wouldn't say players like Danny Green ($45m, 4 years) or Shumpert ($40m, 4 years) are any better.
Just saying.
But back to Ndour. Wow. We probably just saw the game of his career - shows that he's clutch. Balkman on steroids, Faried, maybe Shawn Marion upside. The disruptive capability of a young Worm. Team mentality.
I think he can capably fill in what Q Acy showed us last year, probably with more upside. Acy's problem (and a challenge with his sort of game) is that he runs a fairly high risk of being injured every minute he's on the floor.
He is definitely raw but he is a keeper...

Ledo's got a $200k partial and I think they are high on his as a prospect. Expect him on the roster. That leaves two spots now
Any team can come in and sign him. Hes a high quality diverse piece with two way skills and great length--I dont want to lose him for any circumstance. It appears as if this is a universal yes from Knick fans which is unheard of. Even if he spend 2-3 weeks in the D league to start--thats fine(although Im not sure he needs to at all) but lets lock him up for 2-4 years. Hes like an additional 1st round pick.

Shumpert is counting his lucky stars. cavs will regret that contract
Gerald green is better than shump...but im not a GM
Ndour is more of a faried, if he can make that midrange like clockwork,he'll be really good
Think of haslem a few yrs back....

I see Ndour as a young Kurt Thomas - I think he can play a lot of undersized 5. As our third string center, I don't think he'd need to, but I think it is possible.

I don't see KT at all. This guy is an athlete.

KT got about a 10 inch vert, Ndour gets up there

Young KT could jump out of the gym - but I didn't mean in terms of all around game play. Just in terms of ability to play undersized 5.
I just think Ndour is strong enough and has length to play a role as an undesized 5 man.
He's actually a perfect guy to play alongside KP. So while KP is technically your 4 and Ndour is technically your 5, you have a lot of length overall up front.

Defense got the Cavs to the Finals..They completely shut down ATL to get to the Finals..Perimeter defenders are invaluable in today's game..Resigning Shump was a no brainer...

no brainer? not sure about that. Tough call at best.
