WTH is up with this picture? No wonder why Lebron is always viewed as a true leader/winner but not Carmelo. I know some around here will quickly trash me for this thread, but I don't care. After all of the media criticisms of Carmelo, one would think he would be smart enough to go for the photo op, to put out some of the fire.
After winning just 17 games, that would be a wonderful gesture to us all and the new kids if this buffoon would find it within his heart to make such a simple gesture.

Obviously what's needed here is for us to make up Melo's itinerary for the summer..First off, no visit to the Bahamas with your buddies after a 17 win season...No less than two site seeing trips/tours of and to the Scardale diet doctor's residence to see where the magic happens...A month long visit to any weight watchers facility in the tri-state..Not only must he make a trip to summer league but he must play in the summer league, where is will be the 6th man off the bench..He needs to buy donuts and carry bags for the rookies and second year players..And let's make an event of this..Bring LaLa to Vegas, along with Jay-Z, BeyBe, and most of all Rihanna..Kill a few birds with one stone..KP gets the date he has been longing for with Rihanna, wine and dine with Jay-Z, BeyBe and Riri..Eat your heart out JR...Melo will chauffeur them about town..Take a few pix, post them on popular sites frequented by Knicks fans..Explain to fans he loves and are greeting the new additions..And when that is finished, Melo goes directly to Westchester to prepare for the season that gets under way in another 4 months...

Seriously though, his absence on things Knicks related is concerning. He's certainly entitled to going on vacation though.
Maybe Melo needs to stay away as to not take away from the youngins experience. Kevin Durant was there nobody cares. Lebron shows up after he finally resigns and now it's oh Melo too busy? Should every nba player be there? Or is it just because Melo makes 100+ million?
I'm glad he didn't show up, because guys would be like, oh he's too fat, he's walking with a limp, his shoes don't match his belt.

Melo might have his issues and branding is one, but you can flip it also that the dude will play hurt and give his all to represent the team. Either way its bullshit. I rather not dwell on either. Knicks are in great shape. We need to focus on how this team is going to play come November.
