As per the last interview with Porzingis, Carmelo did text him right after he was drafted.
Carmelo Anthony reached out to me after I got drafted. He said, "Congrats, welcome to the team." I didn't have his number, so I texted back, "Who's this?" And then a few minutes later, he said, "This is Melo" with his No. 7 as the "l." I met him actually when I came for my Knicks' tryout for the first time. We've talked a couple of times since then.
If that is true, I apologize to Carmelo for criticizing some of his leadership mishaps
we already knew he texted the guy after he was drafted. it was a couple days later wasn't it?
im sure melo has been waiting with bated breath for that

Nah, dude said he got the text right away, but did not know who texted him.i am assuming it was the same day of the draft
Don't worry Melo will read this soon as he's back from LA.

He usually logins to this site as TKF.

Lol....unlike most around here, I am big enough of a dude to apologize. I don't just complain.
I care way more on how they gell on the court then any of this. They should compliment each other tho in theory.

The key to their success relies mainly on how the PG and center positions are able to defend; as well as, how mature Fisher becomes as a coach. I believe the new additions will turn our fortune around.
The title of this thread could be a major hit movie similar to:

It has everything you need. Transgender Melo in the lead role would be terrific! His Caitlyn Jenner moment.

KP defends the rim pretty well as well from what we have seen.

He is long and has good defensive principles; from what I can see.
Yesterday on ESPN's "Around the Horn" they pose the question, was melo's absence at SL a disappointment, and all of the panelist agreed, it made little to no sense for melo to cut his vacay to go and watch a bunch of d-leaguers
I kept saying to myself, why should it matter when only 3 or 4 guys actual make the team, or are already on the team, it's horrible basketball to watch, and you'll see these guys in 6 to 8 wks, and from all accords, he plans on working out with KP in august.

This part is hilarious to me for some reason. Did Me7o not get the m3mo that putting numbers in your name was lame in 1995?

You're just not one of the cool kids.
^ I have no idea what that means, Chuck. Take away my internet account.

LOL no one does.
Think it's Elite Speak for tech/gamer community. Something that Melo apparently tried to implement with his hashtag #StayMe7o

Hahahaha i was gonna jump all over that one if someone else didn't. lol
The number 7 is actually an upside down L; which also represents his jersey number
