I was pretty high on him, but was hoping he would have shown more in SL.

CrushAlot @ 7/30/2015 4:47 PM
Can they bring him back?

I was wondering the same thing. Perhaps they did this for the Cap but might still invite him to Training Camp? I don't know the rules on this kind of thing.

I don't get what anyone saw in Ledo. I was never impressed. Not rooting against the kid, but I just couldn't see it. Hope he can get it together.

I'd like to bring in Dorrell Wright for a workout maybe.

With Ledo it was his ability to get into the paint, pass and the potential to be a more consistent shooter. He's still very young and I think maybe the Knicks feel he wasn't ready yet but maybe they sign him to a D League contract.

Funny, but I think there were only about 2 Ledo threads and they were fairly tame in content. No wild expectations were put forth.

I hope this is what happens. I don't think he gets picked up by another team.

this was the right decision. several posters saw it weeks ago.

Shame, I liked that man.

Have to wonder if they have been working out Wesley Saunders and like what they see more then what Ledo has shown.

I hope so too, otherwise this is a bit awkward.

He has a good work ethic but his IQ is super low, He's also a bit of a chucker IMO. If your going to shoot often, you better get to the free throw line often and players like him and THJ don't understand that.

He isn't anything close to being a chucker. I have no clue which ricky Ledo you have been watching.

I agree. Ledo is a willing passer and he goes to the hole regularly. He may just be in a tough spot right now. Doesn't mean the Knicks won't look to bring him back to the D League team.

Yeah...I was in this camp.

I root for any guy we get because the team benefits, and I benefit as a fan, if he does well. I had some real doubts about Ledo being on the roster.

You would see a nice outside shot at times, and maybe some decent passes, but I hated his ball handling and his decision making was not great.

They put some time in to develop him, but he showed very little in SL, and with Fisher coaching the SL team he would have had ample opportunity to watch him play.

The fact that he was given few minutes on the floor in SL tells you everything you need to know about how Fisher viewed him.

They might sign him to a training camp deal, but I wonder if even that possibility has now passed.

I think his best bet is going to Europe, or another foreign league. DL pays so little to those guys.

I am somewhat surprised
jamp @ 7/30/2015 9:15 PM
Yes, I am surprised aswell this kid has talent. Hope he goes back to Dallas and Ndour comes back to NY

The guy had negative win shares and a subterranean TS%/eFG% in summer league and looked awful to back those stats up. His one "good" game that people pointed to (the last one, I think it was) he shot something like 5-15. This isn't rocket science here.

I said a bit of a chucker because he doesn't exactly let the game come to him.

They had to get rid of him by the 1st or else his money is 100%, and I going to assume phil is holding his money for the best available FA.

This end of the line up maybe the toughest part of the line up to fill
