Philly is going to be waiving at least one point guard. Pierre Jackson did not look good last night though.
Darn. That Quallis guy could be a nice end of the bench player.

Either Ndour or Jeremy Evans is going to get waived in Dallas. Evans wouldn't be a bad pick up for the fifteenth spot.

Lots of rumors about who will be the final cut in Dallas. Dwight Powell has been mentioned. I would love for the Knicks to get Powell. Also it sounds like Christian Wood will make the cut in Philly but if he doesn't he would be a great pick up.

Let's go a step further. Drop Lance Thomas and be prepared to pick up the fourteenth player off the waiver wire.

No longer qualifies as an interesting guy for the Knicks, with the deep frontcourt we have. He looked positively huge in the most recent game vs. the Wiz.

Lorenzo Brown is a true PG. 6'5", incredible assist/TO ratio, good D, improving shot, 25 years old, well liked by his teammates. He sounds a lot like Jerian.

Enjoyed watching him at NC State and the kid has talent but he is slipping thru the cracks and running out of time.

I love this guy. We need help at PG and SG.....He brings both, similar to Jerian Grant. And his ceiling is higher than Calderon, so it's a no brainer. Calderson has more value on a ready made championship team.

SG Nick Johnson, son of Dennis Johnson, was also waived by the Nuggets.

Perry Jones 3 also on waivers. 6'11", runs like a deer, scorer. 3 pt range too. Has had glimpses of glory for OKC when Durant was out. He once scored 32 points against the Clippers and Durant once called him the best athlete in the league. Does Fish know about him from OKC days? Talented! Cut Thomas and get PJ3.
Edit: I just found this quote from 2 years ago from PJ3 about Fisher when they were teammates on OKC:
"...some of Fisher’s teammates think he can’t avoid the call to coach. “We always say Fish will coach,” said Perry Jones III. “I think he’d make a great coach, to be honest. He’s wise. He knows the game really well. I think he’d make a great coach, if he would coach. He can write a speech on the drop of a dime.”
How's that for investigating reporting?

I think they are waiting to see who gets cut by Monday. Sixers have to cut 5, nets 2, and 5 teams have to cut 1. I like Jones. Also, Dallas might cut Evans, Ndour or Powell. Sixes could cut Wood.

How does the waiver wire work? I believe that the Knicks are 2nd to pick after the Sixers. Can they claim 2 or 3 of these fine young men before the next team gets a chance? There's real talent here that can help now and also be developed. Phil?

One more and I'm done. Michael Qualls. Could be a 3 and D guy who can also get to the hoop and draw fouls. This scouting report was from earlier this year before he tore his acl:
" He barrels into the paint and isn't afraid to draw contact as he gets to the line on a regular basis, shooting 6.9 free throws per 40 minutes pace adjusted.
On the defensive side, Qualls has the potential to be an impact player at the NBA level. His physical skill-set will be on full display with his length, an impressive 7'0.25” wingspan measured at the combine, good height for a shooting guard at 6'5” and solid agility and quickness will help him defend several NBA positions. This flexibility will be helpful for him, as he will be able to play in multiple styles of lineups that are becoming common in the NBA."

Robert Upshaw was cut. Lots of problems but is a talent.
