Gallo is a two. He is to the Knicks what Eddie House or Patty Mills is to the Spurs

So if you are tired of seeing Melo pound the ball 20ft+ from the basket and more often than not calling his own number than as the primary decision maker than I would welcome starting Grant. 8 assists in 18mins is nothing to sneeze at. He is our best orchestrator. Galloway had the hands to show he could man the point last year. He wasn't terrible but he just not cut out to run the team. Again Grantisnmore adept at getting to the basket and creating easy looks for himself and Melo, KP & Affalo. He doesn't even need to look to score to be effective. It's just matter of getting him to knock a few jumpsuits down to keep the defense honest. Galloway is effective at shooting scoring which we need from our bench especially since DW & KOQ are making it clear to everyone that they are not consistent NBA starters. m
Start Grant. There's no rush. Everyone except Nix knows this year is about developing our young players not winning a chip this winning

how come you don't quote the posts that you are responding to?

I would not be unhappy if Grant started. Like I said, for me its about growing our rookies more than it is about winning games.

Joe Dumars, forgot about that guy, good comparison.

True, good call.

Agreed and I love Galloway. I hope is our John Starks. Anchoring our bench and as a superb spot starter for a decade+

Our very own John Havichek/Cassy Russell! Just as good if not better than some starters but an intregal part that every championship team needs

there you go again getting way too over excited about our kids. Love the kid but he still has a ton to prove.

Calderon and Afflalo will start. Afflalo and Melo click and he's the type of veteran Fish craves. I love Galloway and see him playing as much or more minutes than the starters. Grant and Galloway are our future and will thrive together for the next 10 years.
Also speaking of PGs who can be floor generals, distribute the ball and shoot the three ball don't forget about Travis Trice.

Perhaps Jimmer's departure means he runs the offense.

Will be interesting to seen if he can develop into a legit rotational quality player.

Galloway or Grant? - The correct answer is "YES"
clyderules @ 11/9/2015 9:34 PM
I saw so much in watching Trice play that measly 10 minutes in preseason that impressed me. True court vision. Exquisite passing. A wonderful long distance stroke. A calm, leadership demeanor. This plus his excellent college career and his story of overcoming obstacles make me very, very hopeful about him.
Kemet @ 11/10/2015 12:23 AM
Galloway & Grant are our future tandem guards, they work well together in a lineup because both has combo-guard skills.
Grant has great pass-first skills n Galloway has all-around skills.
It would've been nice to watch the two young (cheap-cheap) guards lead the 2nd-unit all season.
The $8M PG Calderon is still a BUST.
The $8M SG Afflalo is MIA injury-prone.
Thanx Phil

Hopefully he will be Blythe backup PG speedy/distributor/defender later in the year when Calderon is gone or relagated to 3rd string
