His offensive game is really off right now and you can see it in the confidence. He doesnt want to shoot and teams know how to play the drive. he doesnt have blow by speed so right now he's just in an awful place.
Dont agree. He is still learning for sure but he is nba ready. HIM and gallo are important off the bench
He needs a place to put up some shots and gain confidence. Next month maybe we should sign Toure Murry on a 10 day contract and send Grant to Westchester for a week or two.
Touchy situation...don't want to hurt his psyche with a demotion.
Not saying it would not help...but you have to know the player.
If we were deeper at PG then it would be a fine idea for his development. But we need him on our 2nd team because we're thin at that position. He desperately needs reps making shots it's true.
it's tough. I really want to see Jerian stay. Tonight Fish shouldn't have tried Sasha. It's like he felt sorry for him and wanted to force Sasha into the rotation. It seemed forced. Just stick with Jerian.

Sasha can't play. We need another guard. They're out there, Phil.

He did the same thing last game too.

Fish has to let go of his soft spot for Sasha! It's just not helping to stick him into the rotation they had established off the bench. The chemistry was all messed up by doing that IMO.
Call me crazy but I think the Knicks should sign Travis Trice. He has the same passing vision of Grant with a much better shot. I think he would help us a lot.

He's an option. I think Phil is definitely looking to upgrade but he's gonna be patient.
one bad game and you get exiled?

Thank goodness the Knicks aren't about to do such a thing. The kid has to loosen up and just play. He's being too careful and it's taking away his effectiveness. He's gotta be just little reckless scoring the ball. Call for more screens from his bigs and make something happen. We know he's quick enough.
Not a demotion. He needs to work on game time offense where he can feel free--not going to get that in the NBA and hes heading twards 20% shooting killing him Knicks need to be smart.

Grant needs minutes; and he needs to slow down just a bit. The dude can make shots, he will get it

Oh man first ignore in 14 years here--you're just too much my man
Grant is not ready for the NBA--he cant shoot right now--he needs time to go back and freely work on game time shooting. Its really not a debate issue--why wouldnt the players fans and management want the best for his development? Why have a dleague then? The guy is now shooting below 35% thats really bad.

dude! I am REALLY SORRY MY BAD (TERRIBLE)! I thought that this thread was about Gallo (late night dyslexia)
really awful on my part and I can understand your reaction.
Again, briggs ... deepest apologies.
Trice is skilled but raw and a little on the small side. Toure Murry might be able to help us more.
