BRIGGS @ 11/25/2015 9:34 PM
Over the next 6 weeks if jose ,an play like he has I think we can move him for a decent deal where we ,an add up some draft assets and additional capo space
Knicks1969 @ 11/25/2015 9:36 PM
Lol.....music to my ears

His contract makes it tough which is why i hated the move

I don't care if we move the dude, bottom line is we can't sustain team chemistry by the constant shuffling in the lineup.

I still think that the Pistons are a prime target. We bring back Steve Blake and Brandon Jennings (to cut), they get Jose Calderon, Cleanthony Early and Kevin Seraphin. Fair deal.

But Calderon does seem to be a good locker room guy. The Zinger loves him....and what the Zinger loves...the Zinger should have.

Dwayne Casey loved Calderon. Calderon and Monroe worked the pnr well when they were both in Detroit.

Are you thinking about how much he means to KP's development off the court, or are you thinking about adding more young players to have inconsistent play like grant and golloway

Jennings is garbage. Steve Blake I like, because he is a level headed guy who can also defend and shoot the 3 ball with regularity

I'm just focused on the Knicks. With jose playing well it's time tocheck his value. He's not a long term answer and if we can get rid of his 8 mms on the books and bring back a couple of 2s and a prospect it will be on our best long term interests Calderon is a 34 year old to,king time bomb. We have Langston Galloway Trice Grant in our organization.

BRIGGS @ 11/26/2015 9:33 AM
How about jose c c early and Kyle o quinn to Houston for Clint Capella Montrezl Harrell m Thornton and a 2016 second rounder

Next yr 8mm is going to be like minimum wage. Briggs do you realize the importance of having veteran high character guys in your locker room..

Why do you think mini signed old school players like KG, prince, kmart. You need those type of players when you have a young team.

Calderon's worth is not just what he does on the court, He's a good mentor for galloway, early grant, kp.

All Jennings is to me is $9 million in cap space next season. He doesn't fit the triangle but do well for himself in a different, uptempo system.

I want players I can build a championship with I don't give a f about jose dump him to a desperate team while he's playing very well. We have a lot of vets there is no worry there

I'm not saying i wouldn't trade him, but only for someone better, not some rookie or 2nd rounder. Im fine with the young players we have now, why do i want to add more, so i can have a team that resembles the 76ers, and dal with 5 more yr of growing pains.

Bonn1997 @ 11/26/2015 12:47 PM
The way he's playing, maybe his contract is actually reasonable! He might have just been injured and off last year. We really don't have backcourt depth. Trading him is a risk. Now, if we were going to trade all our veterans for youth and picks and build long-term around Porzingis, that would be another story, but I don't think that's where you were going.
clyderules @ 11/26/2015 1:04 PM
Maybe we just can't win until Melo's contract expires and he is gone. Or we trade him. Melo and Calderon for Harden and Beverley?

How about Melo and Koq for Curry and Klay?
