Fisher is clueless ... First off KP was solidifying the defense in the second half and he takes him out of the game! rolo who was owned all night long goes in the game at crunch time to only get owned Again. Playing Sasha in the first half then playing grant in the second half... It really makes you wonder if we had a real coach how good this team could really be. I like fish the person, but as far as head coaching goes the guy needs to go to school and sit behind someone who can serve as a mentor for fish ....how much longer are we going to suffer watching games we should be winning?
I agree just to many head scratches in this game from Fisher. The pattern of subbing has to get better. But let's face it KP is a tall 7'3 on defense but he very small 7'3 on offense.

Reinmann, newyork4ever, and Nalod are going to destroy you dude. Fisher is their favorite oach::::))))

you are completely missing what is going on here on this board.
Nobody on here especially me care for Fisher that much ... we are just not going to go all rainman about it.
Must agree, most coaches would have done something other than just continue to let a guy torch you without making adjustments. Double team? KP a try? Something.

no, i've called you out many times because you don't have a clue what you are talking about.... none at all. fisher did a poor job tonight, no question about it. i was screaming at the tv wondering where porzingis was at the end of the game. fisher has had more good games than bad this year. one bad game doesn't mean he's a bad coach. you're clueless though, so it's not surprising.

More good games then bad?? Seriously????
Fisher looked decent because KP, Aflalo, Lance and Carmelo have contributed. Certainly not because of anything magical fisher has done as a roach:))))

but you will bury melo if he doesn't have a perfect game.
We need more help on the coaching staff than we need at the guard position. no rhyme or reason to play williams just 10 minutes, sasha 6 minute, seraphin 8 minutes, and melo 40.
First of all, frye cant guard anyone, so melo and dwill should have gotten plenty of minutes at the pf.
I understood keeping kp on the bench, but Vucevic didnt have to work at all on the other end of the floor
Fischer is a joke, all he does is make big eyes for the cameras on the sidelines. If PJAx thinks that Fish can do it - sorry for the delusion.
Knicks missed a lot of good shots as well tonight. It also was a huge issue having to use Seraphin instead of KOQ! Seraphin was especially brutal tonight and MURDERED the flow of the bench. It might've gone differently if KOQ was available. The Knicks just needed a little push at the right time. Those Jose, Sasha n Seraphin minutes killed the team IMO.

Oh, they need analytic numbers to prove that point.
I agree that KP is a small 7'3 on offense FOR NOW. He seems to spend a disproportionate time at the top of the key setting picks or shooting 26' jumpers. Imagine this kid with a sky hook. Unstoppable and he has dexterity and is agile enough to follow up his shot and shoot soft jumpers from 10-12feet. Patience Knicks Fans!

Oh suddenly KO is better then Seraphin???? Why have I been criticized all season long for pointing out such fact? Newyork4ever claimed that I have no clue.
Our only Point Guard is Carmelo. The Carmelo need to finally see the worth of this dude. Calderon should never see the floor as a PG

No. I kill melo when he has selfish games. I could care less about perfection. He wasn't perfect tonight. I don't even care if he goes 4-14 like he did in sacramento as long as he is moving the ball.
He is moving the ball these days and I'm loving it. He made some passes for wide open 3's tonight that were missed which were really painful.
Seraphin should not have gotten 8 minutes, he should have got 0.
Sasha - 0.
Williams does good things but still way too many bad ones too. Who should he play for? LT?
Vucevic certainly had to work because of all of rolo's picks which most people on this board can't spot from a mile away.

He's a shooter that doesn't get a lot of good rhythm shots, .he has to create for himself more than he should. Vucevic got good PnR shots, good low post touches, while KP was 30 feet from the basket, or trying to create off the dribble

KP struggles on offense, because Calderon is ineffective. A good PG would find ways to help feed this sweet shooter the ball. Imagine Rondo as our PG with Aflalo, KP, Carmelo and Williams on the floor together!

Kp is vucevic? You think he should be banging?

I don't think anyone has been saying Seraphin was better than KOQ. Seraphin had a brief period where he looked OK but he's been supplanted by KOQ for a while now and so I certainly wouldn't be arguing with you about KOQ!
This team has just a couple of issues that need to be fixed. Jose, Sasha n Seraphin would not be in my rotation for any significant minutes. Fish has to cut his emotions for those guys. After that he's gotta get WAY better with his lineups.

CLEARLY that's the biggest weakness of the roster. I'm sure Phil sees this. It's not rocket science. Just hope he can get something done to bring in some help.
Fish also has to do a better job of showing KP how to keep use the offense more consistently. Sometimes KP gets good looks but too often he's in bad scoring positions with the ball. Part of that.is the lack of PG help but also just not using the curls, V Cuts and down screens get get KP open shots in rhythm.
Back to Fisher.....
Kristaps made the block of the game on Olidipo (sp?) Then takes him out and doesn't bring him back till the game is over at the 2 min mark. Same goes for Grant. He had it going but he blew his load. Galloway should have also been put back in at the 5 min mark not the 2 min mark.
I'm not as hard on Fisher because he's ok sometimes, but tonight this loss was on his coaching ability. Kurt Rambis needs to step up and say something about it.
Anyone that coaches knows that in close games you have to make your run at the start of the 5 min mark if you want a chance at winning. Fisher consistently pissed away the game until the 2 min mark. It's too late by then.
