Makes sense as he was injured. Sixers did the right thing, never even offered him the QO as an RFA either.

He was on a dirt cheap contact too. You also have to consider they have too many punt guards as is... Ish Smith is a good player finally making it count, but he was on the 76ers before. It's odd they would just waive him though. When michael carter williams for hurt Wroten was prong up some monster games for them.

Anyway this guy is a free agent now. 10 day contracts season is coming so I expect this guy to be signed on the first day.

We need a speed boost!!! Just watching how we play so tentative and slow is mostly about our guards! They're scared to be aggressive.

He has to be better then what we have right now otherwise let's bring up jimmer who is shooting 46% from 3

This. Hopefully the hold up is they are waiting for 10 day contracts. I don't think anyone steals awayJimmer.

^^^Langsotn played his first game for the knicks on 1/7 last year. So it should be the first week in January.

And if he took shots. He seems more reluctant to shoot than Pablo.

Rumors are picking up about the Knicks interest in Wroten.

17 mins ago – via ESPN.com
The Knicks are among several teams who’ve looked into the possibility of signing free agent guard Tony Wroten, league sources familiar with the team’s thinking say.

17 mins ago – via ESPN.com
The Knicks’ level of interest in Wroten, who was released by Philadelphia earlier this month, is unclear at this point. But sources say that the club has expressed interest in obtaining a guard via trade or free-agent signing in recent days.

17 mins ago – via ESPN.com
New York (14-18) has 14 players under contract so the club can add Wroten without moving another player. Wroten averaged 8.4 points and 2.5 assists in 18 minutes per game with Philadelphia this season. He’s played in 8 games in 2015-16 after being sidelined for the last 10 months with an ACL injury.

I hope they do this. No reason not to take a look.

there is a reason why all of the guys we have signed (bar Afflalo) are playing very subpar)
enough with the caveman play where you need all five players on the court to have very good hands and to be able to thread very difficult passes

The thing is that when our players were pushing the pace and getting scores in transition no one was complaining about the Triangle. Once Gallo fell off his shooting % he also slowed down pushing the ball as did Jerian. Jose has also slowed down tho that is less noticeable since he's never really playing fast, still as a whole the team has suffered from a lack of confidence and aggression on offense. That's not what the offense is about. If anything they should look more like the Spurs play. They are much closer to the kind of offense that we run and they run at a relatively slow pace compared to other teams. In fact they play at a pace equal to the Knicks! The Spurs are of course better defensively and offensively so...

Wroten made a sort of joke tweet with a winking emoji right after reports came out that the Knicks (and other teams were interested)

I'd be really interested in taking a crack at him. He looked really good last season.

It allows the Knicks to buy some time with Grant and maybe give him a D-league stretch to build up confidence in his J.
