Pistons, Celtics, Magic and Wizards all losing today was a nice bonus after our win.
This might have been the nail in Jose's starting position. I think we have to sign a young PG who can break a D down

Pistons, Celtics, Magic are all still ahead of us. By us losing these previous two winnable games, we put ourselves in a hole. Plus Pistons, Celtics, Magic have all been winning lately

They did still lose today though which was my point. They are 4 of the teams (along with the Pacers) we are competing with for the East 7th and 8th seeds.

Yeah I watched the other games and it was SWEET to see them all lose 😁 Knicks really are in a close race now. Outside of the top 4 teams the Knicks are within 3 games of the 5 spot! The Knicks need to make their push over the next 5-10 games to climb up into the playoffs. They've got 7 of the next 10 at MSG! This is a very important stretch.

I think the Pacers and Heat have been slumping lately too- isn't Dragic out for a while with some sort of calf injury?

Depends what you mean by lately. Celtics are 4-6 last ten games, Magic 3-7. Detroit are 5-5. Knicks at 6-4 gaining ground on all of them.

This. Magic and Celtics have a home and home to end the month, too.
Phili plays very hard. They know if they bring it they can steal wins and they are starting to learn that winning is more fun than losing. Glad the Knicks found a way to get the win. Suprised Melo was able to accomplish anything late... he was totally gassed. Nice to see LG provide a spark again.
