So would it be?
And give a realistic trade scenerio if you please
There is no one I'd rather have then Calderon...He is just under appreciated.
I would take Lowry, but they ain't gonna trade him that ship sailed but I think it was Metta, Felton, either Hardaway/Shump and a 1st to get it done
I really want Brandon Knight from Phoenix.....
Brandon Knight for Derrick Williams, José Calderón, and Jerian Grant....
then you call up Jimmer Ferdette and all have another roster spot to play with

I don't know if Phoenix moves Knight but they just lost TJ Warren for the season to a broken foot. They are going to be players at the trading deadline.

Seriously ?????
Fisher and the Triangle would break Knight. He is faster and more athletic then every single player on the roster and seems to be exactly the type of PG Phil doesn't want as talented as he is. I pick Lowry as a fit for this team and system, the end

There are 20-30 guards in NBA better that Calderon... so what?
There is no realistic scenario of getting any of them.
In couple of month who knows... it can be anything... then we will going to see.
Naturally PG and SG will be the targets in free agency/trade summer time.
But this is so remote.
Hmmmm... "punt" guard?
Is this a guard who has quick feet and is able to block bounce passes with his feet?
I would honestly take Conley or Lowry. I think either would be perfect for this team. Lowry is unattainable (one of my bigger regrets we didn't trade for him when we could), but Conley might be.
Also, the dream scenario is just Westbrook in FA in 2017.
Give me any PG who can hit an open 3 and is quick enough to drive to the hoop.

I got betrayed by the auto correct in my phone as always

Lowry need to dominate the ball. Knight has experience playing off the ball. He's a good cutter and jump shooter too. Long arms. Decent on defense. He's actually perfect for us.

Happens a great deal from what I can see around here...kind of used to it at this point.
I've seen it happen with Briggs a number of times...this one a bit more humorous because punt is also a sports term.

Knight really, he isn't that good. He had a few good months before he was traded and that has been it. Also, his defense is suspect. He is young so he has that going for him.

Have you even seen him play with the Bucks or phoenix? Have you every checked his stats? Clearly you have not.

actually I have. I have been following him since he and Kenny Boynton(UF) was on the same AAU team(Team Breakdown).
I'd go for Dellavedova. The Cavs are looking to bring Mo Williams back into the rotation behind Irving. I'd offer Derrick Williams. We'd probably have to take a lame player or 2 to match salaries. Dellavedova can shoot, pass and defend. We don't have anyone in our backcourt who can do all of those things.

Then you must still be watching footage from those days. The guy is much improved.

yeah, that's what it is or maybe he isn't that good. Last year he came over and shot 31.3% from three. This year he is shooting 33.3% from three. His TS% is 52.3% and has a Ws/48 of 0.43. His career ws/48 is .050. He doesn't really generate a lot of ast or rebounds or stls either.
Now, can he improve sure. I hope he does but he would not be the type of player to give up assets for in my opinion. I could see if his numbers were on the rise and he back up his play as a Buck from last year with good play this year but that has not been the case.
Isn't Dellavadova a free agent?
