Rambis needs to make THE biggest change in our starting 5 to give ourselves a chance to win 40+ games. He needs to replace Jose from the starting 5 and find ways to add a guard from the D-League. My wish was to see Jose traded or let go of the same way we let go of Dalambert, but that may not happen.
Change fortunate to stupid..... cuz these teams are flat out stupid for most of these trades made today.
Anyway, I believe Jose will still be #1 because it's just hard to give a new guy the starting spot especially if they are coming off their couch or out the d league.
We'll see pretty fast.
I think we'll continue to see Galloway get more minutes than Calderon as we did in Rambis's first game. That's a good adjustment.

Clippers actually got better. Green played under Doc before. He is a good defender and can give them what they've been sorely missing from the SF spot

Jose has his flaws but he's still the best option to start. Rambis just has to get more out of him and the starters in general. They've played well before and they can do it again. I believe there's still more they can get out of this roster and we'll see what Phil does with the open roster spot.

It doesn't make sense to keep Jose, Lou, Sasha, and seraphin around. We have a need for talent, we need to start auditioning some of the talents we are developing in Westchester
I would sign Jimmer, Russ Smith, Tim Frazier or Wroten immediately. I would make Jose either the backup pg or backup SG and work in the D league player while staring Galloway for the time being during the transition. This is the best shot they have.

Fisher played Jose too many minutes, as a result teams have seen how bad of an asset he is. The players he should have used, he ignored. Had he used KO consistently, chances are, he would have produced and looked a lot more attractive to other teams.
Jose was born in 81. He's soon 35 and long past the ability to guard younger faster guards. This will continue to be a concern. Who in the league can beat match up with Westbrook, Curry, Hardin?

It is not just his defense that is bad; this is where the Jose supporters are failing; the dude's offense is terrible as well. He gives a decent performance once every 15 games; because he claims to be looking to set up the offense which is not really true. The triangle does not require for a PG to set it up
I want to see Galloway, Afflalo, Anthony, Porzingis, Rolo. Williams as the 6th man off the bench. Play Calderon/Grant depending. Thomas rounds out the top 9. One of Rolo or Kris should be on the court at all times at the 5.
I would definitely sign Wroten to a 2 year T.O. for a third to see if he can push Galloway and up our talent floor. He is not gonna start right away but he should compete with Calderon and Grant at first for the third guard spot, getting an early audition for next season.
The offense should be run through Anthony, Galloway and Afflalo serving as guards in position on the floor only. The triangle is run through the best player, it has to be run through Anthony's hands like it was through Jordan, then Shaq-before Kobe was Kobe, and then Kobe to see if he can handle it. Anthony needs play the point forward spot so he can pick and choose his scoring.
We need to keep hope alive and pray that management gets smart and get rid of all of the deadweight
