More disappoint for those who worship Melo and have raised him to hero/martyr status and blame Chuckbuck(Knick fan)
knickscity @ 3/17/2016 4:35 AM
That's really suspension worthy.

Note to self: Call CP3 this weekend to rap about my no trade clause and getting the phck outta NY.

I love how people think Melo is the center of all Knicks problems. If the team had half the talent and work ethic he did, we'd be .500 at best.

The Knicks are in a lose lose situation right now. We trade Melo, we'll get nothing in return. If Phil Jackson stays on course, we'll never get better. If Phil Jackson leaves in 2017, we get Isiah.

All of this is just bad.

Our new hope is to eventually just build through the draft and become one of THOSE teams. Oh boy.

GrandDadMelo?

Melo will be in the HOF
His kids will never have to pay for anything
He will continue to get endorse money from Jordan
There is nothing for Melo to be said about

It's just the reality of having 1 star player doesn't win games like they used to.
Lebron's team is loaded with stars, and they will be watching the championship game just like us.

We are now in the Steph Curry era.....Similar to being in the Jordan era.
It only gets harder from this point forward, as long as GS and the Spurs are relevant.

He's just the scapegoat. Hopefully KP doesn't eventually become that here in the future. It's the knicks fan way.

Luckily KP is young enough to build around after those core groups are no longer where they are now. At this point i'm sure many teams are preparing for life after Curry and LeBron, depending on which conference you are in, which is smart.

This was in the fourth quarter when Melo was done for the night and the team was down by 35 points.

The game was over. He was bummed about the team's effort. Scapegoat him all you want, but if they trade him, this team is gonna be even worse. Same old Dolan Knicks - blame the best player for a completely dysfunctional organization from top to bottom.

I pity KP when he becomes the target.

Another thread...........for me to poop on!

Normally I wouldnt be happy about something like this from Melo, but under the circumstances its exactly what the team needs. In the last 48 hours Melo has lobbied for finding the best coach for the job, not letting Phil annoint Rambis as the next coach unchallenged, without a thorough search, or unfortunately a PR stunt of a search. At least Phil has to go on the record and tell fans that he interviewed some of the best coaches out there, including one with a .647 winning pct, and decided a coach with a record of 59-152 (worse by now) is the best choice available.

Melo's has been showing his displeasure with increasing regularity, looks like he is going to force a showdown over the next coach this summer. Some of you might be happy with Rambis coming back, but I want the best coach available, and I don't care what Melo has to do to make that happen. How many players are going to come to NY to play for Rambis? Even if Melo loses, there is a decent chance IMO that if things dont get a good deal better, that Melo will force a trade. Melo didnt put finding the best coach out there by accident.

I understand some of you dislike Melo for a variety of reasons, Anthony is advocating for what many posters want to see, the Knicks hire the best coach for the job, not the best buddy for the job. One way or another, looks like Melo will force a showdown with Phil/Dolan this summer. Im all for it.
