I know that knick fans love to beat him up for numerous reasons but in my book I think that he still may be the best PG of all time or at least top 3.
He never won a ring but neither did Malone and Barkley. Sometimes its not in the cards.

Uhhhh...as a player, or as a human being?

of course not as a player. He is one of the greatest players that I have seen.
I dont know any PG who was better than Magic Johnson
CP3? I'd put two time Nash ahead of him.
Curry might be making a good argument.
Statistically Stockton and Kidd are pretty good.
Clyde had deflated numbers being unselfish, but his defense put him on many all time great lists.
Nobody led the league in Assists and Scoring in a single year. Except Tiny Archibald.
When nobody would sponser Marbury, he manufactured his own shoe!
Then there was Magic who at 6-9 could destroy at team many ways.

Time has a way of making one forget.

Seconded.

In his prime, no one could touch him as greatest point guard of all time, not even Stockton. Dam that early HIV hysteria!
Oscar Robertson enuff said.
No he's up there though, my top 5 list in terms of pure peak play...
Steph
Magic
Oscar
Paul
Nash
Top 4
4. Bibby
3. Douglas
2. Felton
1. Calderon
magic, oscar, isiah, nash, kidd
I guess all the players of this generation are the greatest of all time....

That is an all time list right there. Don't forget B Diddy!

Lebron > Jordan
CP3 > Magic
Curry > Oscar
Draymond > Pippen
Kerr > Phil Jackson
We're truly living in a renaissance era of basketball, who knew!
Clyde doesn't get a mention?

Steph?? Marbury or Curry? Marbury is a joke, Curry has really only 6 seasons. Best of all time??? What are you smoking?

Neither does Gary Payton?
CP3 is much much better than Kidd.
the only valid argument here is magic
He is great but... but he is one of many great PGs.
He is in top 20 list for sure and this 20 are kind of same level.
