Knicks · Nick Young Not the Only One Upset With D'Angelo Russell (page 3)

^^^^ Channeling your inner D'Angelo Russell, mreinman?

He got thrown into a bad situation, no doubt about it.

Selfish?...they beat Miami, somehow, and for their 37 baskets they somehow managed to have only 14 assists, and this was a home game. Between Kobe, Clarkson, and Russell, they had all of 2 assists.

I don't necessarily want to see the Sixers get lucky and end up with LA's lottery pick, but I'm kind of hoping that the Lakers draw the 4th or 5th pick and lose their lottery slot.

By the way, from what you hear, Russell has been immature from the beginning. He was put into a tough situation with the make-up of LA's roster and the Kobe good-bye tour, but Russell hardly rose to the occasion and showed any wisdom beyond his years.

Just count our blessings that we don't have that level of dysfunction right now. The most scandalous thing we've got is Rambis and AA, both of whom will be gone soon anyway.

Wonder how the Russell's teammates react to this...

The ad is clever, but Maybe Russell should have declined to do it...and the timing, given that the Young/Azalea relationship is officially over, is not good.

HILARIOUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Finestrg @ 6/21/2016 4:19 PM

That was freaking gold.
blkexec @ 6/21/2016 5:14 PM
Funny.....glad to see Russell was in on it. Most rookies in his shoes would've declined that ad.

Nick Young's last three tweets:

Maybe the last one is his response to that ad? It's not clear.

But that ad was hilarious! Well done.

Brilliant. Lesson learned, thats how you handle bad publicity. Thought Russell might be a goner. Its going to be interesting to see what Walton does with his roster. Should be fun to watch whatever happens. Looking forward to their first visit to the Garden.

This is the way you handle stuff.

Wish I could . . .

I think it is...but I'm not sure his comment is genuine.

My own feeling is that it won't go over well with the guys on the Lakers who were pissed off with him.

Still, a pretty funny commercial.

Russell getting paid don't suck either to do it!
Live and learn, if the kid can ball, and be a leader, then he grows.
if not, he has 10 years of being JR or Nick young.
Very gifted, having fun, just not able to make the most of their talent because of noise they create off the court.
There are ramifications to stretching ones sense of self entitlement. In this case, Nick Young cheated, and Russell ratted him out.
THats what happens when two brain dead bone heads collide.
When JR was running late to a cook out, he thought he could pass 4 cars and blow a stop sign. Instead he Killed his friend.
You get opportunities and second chances when your services are in demand.
mreinman @ 6/21/2016 10:48 PM
now that the POS bmamba and the worst coach in history are gone, Russell should do just fine.
