Plumlee looks solid. I am surprised he did not get drafted. I think he turns into a solid backup center. He probably is ready for 10-12 minutes this season.

Marshall was always the family favorite, take that Blazers!

He's a good 3rd center who --over time could turn into a 2nd level C or even fill in time at starting C due to injury in 4-5 years. Hes very robotic right now--but he has the tenacity the athletic ability and the understanding of what his job is that makes him valuable. The fact that he has a nice shot form that can be developed into game skills is a plus.

RoLo is also a very robotic guy but very effective. Sometimes how a guy looks is deceiving. The key factor with Marshall is that he is big and athletic and can play in a more uptempo and athletic NBA game. The kid has great feet for someone as big as he is. I hope he can make the team and contribute off the bench. We're gonna need cheap role players.

Ive watched him several times on tv. He didnt impress even when he was productive in some , looked like a big stiff to be honest . Kid has name and Duke pedigree and connections so scouts saw him extensively and they passed, he had advantage of age, size in college as well as top notch coaching yet never took the jump. Nowhere as atheletic as Mason, nowhere. He'll work hard as all Plumlees do but he's bench fodder. Briggs read has it about right imo though I think his athletic abilty is average. Limited 3rd string backup

My take is that he will be better in the NBA than in the claustrophobic College system. Also he's a late bloomer IMO. He seems like his on a RoLo path to development. Real slow but getting better. Should be interesting to see how he looks in SL.

You come to that conclusion from a tape showing a seven fter who can dunk with two hands? He isnt fluid or quick and slow reactions. Those practice dunks mean little is a real game. There is a reason that he wasnt drafted despite having the last name, school, coach, age. Manage expectations

Yeah he's a guy who at 23-24 still needs development but I think he's good enough to be a third c in the nba which has it's value. I would've rather had Auguste as a USAF if we were going Cs as he has more upside and is MUCH more fluid

First of all did I place any EXPECTATIONS on Marshall??? See this is the kind of negative ass Bullish I'm always talking about. All I did was talk about the fact that the kid is in fact athletic for a 7'er. If you can show some kind of proof that he's not athletic go ahead but i'm not some clown that has no idea WTF i'm talking about. Watch this video at about the 1:07 mark and watch his agility and quickness for a 250 lb 7'er.
