Hi Martin/Andrew.
Can you sticky this? Would like to have 1 place to discuss/view the 2016 Free Agency period.

LOL. That's the kind of thought you don't say out loud.
I just had a thought - you know what would make a lot of sense to me?
Al Horford to the Warriors.
Trade Bogut, get younger at center with Horford. Horford has that 3pt range, can pass, play defense...
Curry
Klay
Iggy
Draymond
Horford
They'd be pretty good again, huh?
Oh, and I think Durant signs a one and one with OKC to see where Westbrook goes.

It's funny to me that people here quote Frank Isola like gospel when it comes to getting a Durant interview, but when he questions the Knicks coaching search he's scum who is making stuff up and hates the team. LOL.

But he isn't reporting that Durant is giving them a meeting.
He's simply expressing a reasonable assumption.
I don't think Durant will sign in NY, but I'd be very surprised if he didn't grant the team a meeting.
There just so little downside to it for him and his agents (who have other clients).

I thought his assumptions about the coaching search were pretty reasonable and they were roasted here. Just find it funny.
I think it is reasonable that Durant would meet with the Knicks. I just think it's a waste of everyone's time.
But hey, maybe he signs a one and one deal with OKC and the Knicks have a good season and he considers them more next off-season.
No point in not meeting him - I just think he won't come here. It is clear his priority is winning. All the teams he's meeting with according to Woj are playoffs teams who won big time and are truly one player away. The Knicks are *HYPOTHETICALLY* one or two pieces away... but that's asking Durant to make a hell of a leap of faith.
Here's another Isola tweet from today - is he hating again?

agreed. or whiteside. If i were GS i'd be thinking how do we not re-live the nightmare that just happened. WHat's our interior Defense for next year playoffs. they don't need KD

Of course if Curry was Curry they might not have lived it at all.
I don't know the Warriors need to reinvent the wheel in response. Yeah, did the Cavs game plan then well, sure. But they were also up 3-1 once too.
They add any significant talent anywhere, and they're easily the favorites to win again.
I wouldn't get too fancy addressing a "need" or trying to out-roster one team.
I take Durant over Horford without even thinking twice about it.
And if nothing else it makes their ride through the WC all that easier. Takes him away from OKC and keeps him away from SA.
That's like a triple benefit.

That makes sense to me. I see the Lakers chasing Whiteside and Barnes... the B-level Max guys...
I predict Whiteside and Derozan to the Lakers both for max.

Gets them both out of the east.
Sign me up.
WC can only send one team to the Finals. Let them Game of Thrones one another for 3 rounds.
I can understand offering KD a full max but after that Id be aggressive with a 1 year contract with Pau Gasol--for instance 1 year 16mm and offer Allan Crabbe 4 years 64mm$ If I secure Gasol--Id make Oquinn available for a Will Barton type trade.
