Now this is the pwrfect backup to Rose. Nets are shoppin him prior to Thursday buyout date. I would offer the 2017 2nd rounder from the Bulls in trade or try to sign him outright after a possible buyout.

I always have loved this dude. Defender can score can pass jack of all trades master of none. Perfect fit for what they need.

He would be great if he could come back but he tore his acl and meniscus. Not sure that he would be anywhere near what he was for quite awhile.

Yahoo said he is already rehabbing and should be ready for training camp. i know it will take a while to knock the rust off but he is the perfect backup to have.

Would you trade for him or wait to see if he cleared waivers if they can't move him?
I love Jack. I just don't know if he is worth 6 mil coming off of his injuries. I agree that if healthy he would be perfect.

I hope that hornacek can recruit the phx medical staff.

6mil is going to be seem very very affordable in about a week.

I have no idea the severity of his injury though.

Last time I really watched him was when he was the backup for the Warriors - he was really great for them, but that like two full years ago.

Jack has 6 mil this year a team option for 6 mil next year.

Knicks have cap room, so they could claim him off waivers... though almost everyone has cap room... so almost anyone could claim him off waivers...

NO!
CrushAlot @ 6/29/2016 1:21 PM
Utah is looking to move Trey Burke. He would cost a bit but could be a great pick up.
blkexec @ 6/29/2016 2:30 PM
How old is Jarrett?

Seems like he's been in the league forever!

He is 32.

He is not bad if the would take on O'Quinn. We would have to probably give up too much to get him. Our pick is out of the question.

And no to Jack. Are we trying to put together "The All Knee Team"?

Burke would be awesome to get. I agree that it probably takes more than O'Quinn.

Yahoo has the Nets waiving and stretching Jack's 500g guaranteed money.

Jack played well for the Nets after Dwill trade. A player can get back from ACL within a year but full recovery as far as lateral movement, stopping etc normally takes 18 months or so. He never relied on speed but there is a lot of cutting required on both ends at G and the neural signals in a reconstructed knee have to be retrained. He would have been a perfect backup but problably better alternatives now for the price bandied about

Whoever gets him will get a quality low cost player trying to prove he's injury free. Seems like the perfect player to join a group of current and future injury prone players. But they all come in motivated.....and Phil reserves the 60 mil cap space next season......then its always a win....win move.
