I love it. Phil has done an EXCELLENT job this summer. quintescential 3&D shooting guard
Nice. Do they have to move/release anyone?
Deal is similar to what Solomon Hill received from the Pelicans....Yes, that Solomon Hill
I was really warming up to the idea of signing Rivers. Can't be mad at this deal...Lee is a good fit for what we have...

Very solid group. They should fit well together. Lee can shoot and defend at the level we need. This should allow time for Phil to find long term young players that can take over when KP is in his prime. For the next couple of years this looks like a solid group of Vets to support KP as he matures. Phil can focus on finding and developing youth behind these guys.
I've always liked Courtney Lee as a role player. Glad to have him aboard. But I do wonder what effect him signing will have on Derrick Williams and Lance Thomas? We need both those guys to field a competitive bench.
im very happy with those move. yeah i think we might have overpayed by giving noah that extra year, but if thats what it took for him to sign than whatever. our starting 5 doesn't have very many weaknesses, adding willy to the bench is nice, keeping dwill and lance would be good too. i can roll with it. we just REALLY need a backup PG now.

I believe Phil can go over the cap to sign these guys from last year.

I think we only have Early Bird Rights on Lance Thomas and Langston Galloway.

Isn't that only for Gallo and Lance and not DWill though?? I think Lance is gonna get a big offer from other teams and heard that he's already had interest from like 10 teams or something crazy like that so this really hhurts me but i don't think we'll get Lance back but do think we'll get Gallo back but he really lost me with his play last year after being excited about him after his rookie year with us.
If anyone knows exactly how everything works with DWill, L.Thomas and Gallo on how much we can give them and if we can go over the cap on any or all of them please let it be known but if you're just assuming then please say that.
Still would like to find a way to attain Austin Rivers

Yes agree we need scoring from our second unit ... Gallo and lance have a hard time getting fruit in the basket
We need to keep Thomas Gallo early..find away to get David Lee and Matt barnes
Also anyone know what Lee shot from 3 last year

I don't know if it will be Rivers but we absolutely need a legit backup point guard and it should be at the top of our list now that we signed C.Lee. There's some pretty good guys that would be really good backups out there and a couple i like are......
A.Rivers
M.Chalmers
S.Curry
J.Crawford
K.Martin
R.Sessions
G.Vasquez

How is that true for DWill? What am I missing here?
I thought I saw Rivers is staying in LA
Had a real good chance at Austin Rivers here and it looks like we passed. I mean we want absolutely nothing to do with adding any young players to the mix...Yeah Lee's decent, but is what we have now championship caliber? I mean it all has to go PERFECT with this group to get past LeBron and then what team are we beating out West? Nor are we really developing any young player besides KP as of right now. And there's no bench at all and little money left over to fill it out -- we have Justin Holiday who I actually like; Kyle O'Quinn who I don't. That's it..And now we're hearing Willy's agent is entertaining other Euro. offers which tells me he's trying to squeeze us, so there's a chance this dude's playing hardball and may not even come now...Tough for me to really get the juices flowing with this team as constructed. Sorry, I'm not a doom and gloom guy by any stretch. I eat, sleep and breathe this team, man.. Just being objective. Just feel sans KP, there's no foundation in place for the future and now with Noah/Lee, it'll be 4 years before we can turn the page if this doesn't work. Again, I'm not looking to be a douche fellas believe me--I know some of you are excited. Just don't know if I'm feeling this plan, you know?
So with Lee set to make approx. $12.5mm next year, how much cap do we have left exactly? And who else do we target -- Willy obviously, who else?

He is.
