Just heard it and you beat me to the comment.

Would be nice if true.

Phil keeps surprising us with moves none of us predicted, or entertained. I never heard one thing about this kid, but definitely seems like a solid comparrison

Another Clarence Gaines Jr. find? Man. He is really earning his money.

Kevin Wilson, he is the Knicks guy in Spain.

Either way, our international scouts are rock stars.

I'm in Spain and you're right about Kevin and me.

oh nice. Playin or just hangin out?

Living there about 2/3rds of the time- outside of Barcelona- Quite Nice! Tough to watch NBA with the time change but I still find a way to waste my time and get my heart broken w the Knicks - sometimes I catch the game in the AM, sometimes I'm crazy and get out of bed at 3am to check in - sometimes I'm really crazy and stay up- but Pretty Ms Buick doesn't roll with that one so much

Very cool. Maybe La Merce in Sept, have to see. And yes, I still do have that cup, forgot to respond to you other other other thread :)

Here is another clip were he hits a couple of 3s , and some nice plays inside.
nyknickzingis @ 7/6/2016 12:33 AM
This guy looks incredible in his videos.
6'9 guard. So fluid.
Dont want to get ahead of myself but when I saw vids of KP last year I immediately thought, that kid is a huge mismatch and has great talent. This Kuzinkas, may be another KP like find, maybe not same level, but his ballhandling, comfort with changing directions, finishing at the rim, are as impressive as KPs shooting was for a 7'3 guy. This guy is 6'9 and moves, dribbles like an athletic aggressive driving guard. DWill was more explosive and powerful, but also less quick to make a decision.

Key will be his 3 point shot. If he can pull up and shoot three pointers, teams will be hard pressed to defend him.

This is like having a mid to late 1st round draft pick. Fantastic usage of capspace by Phil. He truly moves and looks so fluid. How does a player like this not get picked in a draft?

I think I read that in 2011 he was playing in Lithuanian second league and many were hesitant abut that, something like that. Skinny dude and was probably even more so 5 years ago.

If you have a quick first step, and known as a slasher or dunker, your release doesn't have to be quick. Plus a 6'9 slasher will have even more space and height to get that shot off. Also, he should be wide open....at least for the first few months.....unless he comes in as a shooter. Michael Redd and Alan Houston has a slow release.

I'm headed to Barca in Sept. Meet up?

Seems like a smart signing. Roster management has been quite good this off-season. Still some risks that could go south, but now we seem like a legit potential playoff team.

We brought in a couple of risky vets (Rose and Noah) but also brough in a solid "you know what you're getting" vet who fits a need very well (Lee), a relatively young starter-level back up point guard who in the worse case scenario can fill in for Rose if he gets hurt and best case scenario can give us instant offense off the bench (Jennings). We signed some young legs to satisfy the folks complaining about acquiring players over 30 (Willy and Kuzminkas), resigned solid bench vet Lance Thomas who played well for us last year and we may be able to resign Galloway. Hopefully KP will continue to get better and Melo didn't have to spend the offseason rehabbing an injury. Not to mention we kicked Calderon to the curb. The only negative is we couldn't resign DWill.

Now that the dust is settling, I don't see much room to complain.

Although signing DWill doesn't look like something that will happen it's not out of the question yet. If i heard correctly we can still offer him a L.Thomas type contract starting around $6 mil per but not sure of that. If so then i could see him coming back and maybe even leaving a little money on the table if it's teams like the 76ers that are only offering him a contract.

This is the best roster makeover we've had in a very long time. There's competency up and down the roster. They've filled all the holes and still have some room for more. Boatloads of upside. What's not to like???

This is one of the best builds i've seen from any team that didn't build with super stars or even stars. We all realize that a couple of these guys have injury questions but even with that it's about as solid os a one off season build as you'll see.

His shot looks a little quicker in the second video that was put up at the top of this page. Still not Curry/Klay like quick and not even close but quicker.

5 reasons to love this signing.

This video shows his release is a little quicker. Maybe he just takes his time when wide open.

He's my kind of player though. Get that long rebound, turn and attack the rim

Looks like he likes to dunk and is pretty athletic.

Also, 58% from 2 point range. He has good Euroleague #s.

Yep - my very initial reaction (because of his 2 handed dunks) was a young Tom Chambers. Great minds think alike.

On the last dunk over Mark Jackson.

I happened to be vacationing in Phoenix at the time and decided to scalp tickets to catch Knicks/Suns -- it was just a great up and down game and the Chambers dunk in person over Jackson was the greatest dunk I've ever seen.

Agree with both of you. And really, it all came down to the Rose trade (started the all rolling). That partly got Noah on board, also him wanting to play here but it sure made it easier for him.
We have a really really deep team. If we stay healthy for the most part, I feel quite strongly we can finish near the top. Melo hasn't had this much talent around him
since he was a young buck, Derek has never had much around him. We have what looks to be a smart team that fits well with one another. The X Factor now might really be Kuzminkas,
he clearly got game.
