Love seeing Noah's touch passes and hand offs from the post. Had nice assists to a trailing KP for 3, driving Courtney Lee on a give and go, and a nice hand off to DRose. I feel like it's possible Noah may lead this team in assists, or at least average 4-5apg. I think we may see Melo, Rose and Noah all average around 4-5apg.
If we get 7 from Rose, 4 from Melo, 5 from Noah than things in that starting line up are looking good
Noah averaged 3.8 assist in 21.9 mins last year. He gets those dimes even in limited playing time. At 30mins that's 5.2 per game. So if he played 24-28 mins he will be good for at minimal 4. Maybe playing with Melo, KP, Rose, Lee gets him to 5 in 24-28.
bottom line I love the mix of ball movers, shooters, finishers in this lineup. Your two big scorers in Rose/Melo are both looking to get more people involved. Lee shoots. KP shoots. Melo shoots. Noah passes. Rose penetrates. Then we have guys who can beat you 1-1 and create as well.. good size, nice mix of youth/maturity. Very happy with where we are
YUP!!! The most balanced and skilled roster we've had in awhile. Guys are also at a point in their career where they just want to win. Guys are taking a very mature approach to this season. Those guys on the bench are very much in the mold of LT. Guys that are smart, actually have skills and work hard. Very much Phil types of players.
Melo has also never played with a ball moving big like Noah either. So it will be interesting if this is a dynamic that enhances Melo. We all know Melo is deadly catch and shoot player. So if Rose and Noah are creating these catch and shoot opportunities then Melo could go off.
Also good ball movement from the big men becomes contagious since its rare and will inspire others to do the same. Players like Willy and KOQ also have shown flashes of quality ball movement from what I have seen from them. So Noah could get them going in that department.
Noah is also very good at initiating the fast break, great outlet passes. One of the best.
Ben Simmons has broke the 5th metatarsal in his foot, the day after Cameron Payne broke his. Khris Middleton is also out for much of the season with a torn hamstring. Injuries suck, I was looking forward to watching all of those players play.

Well thankfully none of our players are going through injuries. We have to remain positive and put positive thoughts out there. Art of attraction

76ers are seriously snake bit. Wondering what they are going to do with all these injured big men? Starting to pile up. Would have thought that they would have at least dealt Okafor or Embiid by now.

Thinking about that film "Master and Commander", maybe they have a jinx on board, lol.

I thought Hinke was the jinx... maybe he let enough bad karma behind. Yikes.

Yup, Hinkie leaving should have gotten that ship moving. Maybe its the glut of injured big men that is the source of the bad karma. The main talk in the building always being about one injured player or another. They should get rid of at least one of them before Simmons gets back.
simmons put on 33 pounds in the off season. Too much Too soon!!!!

My God... that's what guys want Kristaps to do. You simply can't do that. The human body can't adjust. Eat well, lift weights and do your basketball conditioning.... put on 10lbs at the most. See how your body handles it and assess from there. Whoever ok'Ed him to gain that much weight needs to be fired.

agree... that's insane and almost impossible to do with out roids. That's the kind of weight gain I would expect over a year from a HS offensive lineman trying go to from 240-270 before his freshman year of college. Basketball??? Are you kidding?
No.. KP did it right. Just get strong and work on the core. 10lbs for a guy who is 20-21 is about right.
