Knicks · I know it's early but a Rose for Rubio could be an option?? (page 3)

PG will likely come in the draft but to add to the FA PG list, Lowry could opt out and become a FA this summer

I like our current approach. Spread the money. Willy/Kuz/Lance/KOQ.. these are nice managable contracts attached to good players with some upside. I dont expect them all to break out but there is some quality and depth there.

It would be fantastic if Randle eventually makes his way back and shows he can be a legit backup PG in this league. Baker is more a 3&D guy to me... plus we have our draft pick and hopefully land a decent prospect there.

Time will tell.

Well said. I don't want to risk any of this potential real depth we have for an interview and possibility of signing a Fa

I remember seeing this thread a while ago, just wanted to see if it was real...

Rose & Noah to Minnesota is not that far-fetched..

Pairing Noah with Towns would be a great tandem. Rose would not be a good player for Minny right now unless you trade Rubio for Rose. The problem Minny is having right now with their backcourt is that Levine is an inconsistent shooter and Rubio can't shoot.

Pekovic and Jordan Hill for Noah works. Get shorter contracts.

NY needs to actually get something in return

Tyus Jones?

You get back Rubio/Pekovic and a pick maybe. Not sure I really see the point though. I know "its a business" but that would be two players in consecutive years that signed long deals to be in this area and didnt make it past year 1 of their deals. Lopez wanted to live here. Noah wanted to be a Knick. Dont think players dont notice that stuff. I think you can move Rose for the right deal, but Noah would be a shitty move
