If they tried as hard as they're trying in the fourth quarter for the whole game, they could've won. The effort level is not consistent. There doesn't seem to be a sense of urgency.
fitzfarm @ 11/17/2016 9:31 PM
this shows the leadership of melo it= zero

Knicks scored 47pts in the 4th quarter. That might be up there with the most points scored in any quarter in any game in the league this year.
crzymdups @ 11/17/2016 9:32 PM
If only they could defend at all.

It sorta seems that way, huh? I'm not opposed to it.

I betcha Phil is though.

Thibs has to be a horrible offensive coach..The amount of time I see Melo spending on the court just directing Noah and Rose in setting basic screen and rub plays off the ball a few steps ahead of when it actually happens..I'm really shocked..

They came out and played like the Wiz sucked, which they do, but they were super hungry for a win, and they played hard from the start. They had been one of the worst 3 point shooting teams in the league at (even when left open)31%, last night they look like a MDA team.

We have blown out opponents for good stretches recently with KP at center and Noah on the bench. That 2 PG lineup last night with KP, Melo and Holiday was dynamic.

Feels like we've been doing this forever (even back when we were good!) - crash and burn against a bad team, usually just when we have the chance to climb to .500

The Wizards have some good wins this year, Beal had missed a decent chunk of time. When he plays, they're a really tough team. When he's out, they're mediocre.
