Going for 3-0 with game threads

The Wizards, with Beal a game time decision, are coming off a bad loss to the Sixers. Otto Porter and Markieff Morris present similar matchup issues as Tobias Harris and Marcus Morris in Detroit - but the real matchup of interest for the Knicks will be DRose trying to contain or slow down John Wall. Hmmm. May want to see Courtney Lee or even Justin Holiday take a turn there.

Can KP go for 40 tonight? Are we witnessing his first all-star season?? Can the Knicks win 3 in a row???

Kristaps is now averaging more than 20 points per game while shooting an effective field goal percentage of .571. Only three other players in the league score that much at such an efficient clip: Steph Curry, Kevin Durant and Kemba Walker.

I am so excited for this game. I'll be watching with my son (a Wizards fan I failed to indoctrinate into the NYK fan base due to the Knicks' ineptitude, and his fascination with the skills of John Wall). While I doubt a Knicks victory will win him over, at least he's getting to see what being a real fan of a team means - suffering through the ebb and flow of achievement and flirting with mediocrity.

Plus it will let me gloat just a bit. I hope KP goes off for 40. He seemed to reach a new level of confidence last night, and looked a lot like Dirk on those step back fadeaway jumpers off one leg. Go Knicks!!!!

Didn't like how Melo just allowed Beal to lay it in on the fast break--he can at least make an effort to contest it.
